Punky Temporary Hair Color Spray, Bengal Blue, Non-Sticky, Non-Damaging, Travel Size Hair Dye for Instant Vivid Hair Color, 3.5 oz

This worked well for my first grader's Wild Hair Day for school. It covered his hair very well. I was trying to find a product that would show up on his hair as he is African American and has black hair, I was happy that this did dry to a very brilliant blue. I sprayed his head outdoors. I would not use this products indoors, it has a very strong smell and it's spray paint, so it gets everywhere.I tore a hole in the bottom of a plastic grocery bag and stretched it to fit over his head, so that only his hair showed. The bag stuck out around his head like a visor, so it did not actually cover his face, there was no suffocation risk. Use your best judgement. The bag kept the paint off his skin for the most part. When we finished spraying, I just tore the bag off and threw it away. The little bit that did get on his skin around the backs of his ears was easy to wipe off with a baby wipe.Don't do this the night before- most of it came off on his pillow case and we had to redo it the next morning. It shampoos out very easily. I was concerned about that aspect as well, but it was no problem. The one thing is that it will rub off on everything, so be careful! Make sure you are wearing something that doesn't need to be pulled over your head. My son has very short hair, this was two good applications. If you have longer thicker hair, you will probably want 2 cans.

I read some reviews that said it worked well on dark hair, so I decided to give it a try for a Halloween costume and it worked great! The dye takes a moment to settle in and dry, so it might not look bright immediately, but after giving it some time to fully dry, the color was super vibrant. It also washed out really easily with water and shampoo, and I only had to wash my hair thoroughly two times to make sure that all of it was out. It also comes off items and skin really easily with water, disinfectant wipes, or makeup wipes. Overall very pleased!

Stayed on all day through school and evening activities; left it overnight and it was good to go the next day with light touch ups. Plenty of use per can (used on long hair), and smells great too. So why not 5 stars? Because under indoor lighting, the color is muted and sometimes barely visible. Maybe it's a problem only this color or for dark hair. Regardless, it truly shines outdoors and lasts. If you're looking to make an impression for indoor events, you may want to look for a different color, product, or method. Otherwise perfect for rich, vibrant temporary color.

Loved this! Used for Thing 2 costume for Dr Seuss week and had so many compliments on his hair color! Took 5 shampoos to come out but that is ok!

The color is fine but because I can't stand the smell, I can't even use it. It makes me smell like an old lady! Who at "Punky Color" came up with an old lady smell for color hair spray?
