Helps my Senior Dog Move Safely, Less Slipping and Better Foot Protection.
These TigerToes non-slip dog socks have been a good thing for my senior dog Dakota. He has some hind leg weakness and arthritis after surgery, so he tends to slip when trying to stand on our hardwood floors and can drag his back legs a bit. The grip on these socks makes a noticeable difference — he slips much less when standing up now, which gives him more stability and confidence. They also do a solid job protecting his paws from getting sore or irritated when he’s dragging them across the floor, and they really protect his feet when he’s outside going from concrete to pea rock too. We bought several pairs so we can rotate them, keep them clean, and always have a fresh pair ready for him. We use them with a supportive harness and the combination works really well. If you have a senior dog or one with mobility issues on hardwood or other surfaces, these are worth trying. They’ve helped Dakota move around more safely and comfortably both inside and out.

Turned back time
My 17 year old Cockapoo has gradually lost muscle tone in her back legs and began slipping on smooth floors. We added area rugs and have been carrying her around the house more and more for the last few years to help her get around. Inevitably, she lost more muscle tone and being bored, began to sleep most of the day away. Occasionally, she even got "stuck" on the tile floor, unable to stand up to move until we found her which was very distressing for all of us. These socks work like a charm. I wish I found them sooner. They give her the extra traction she needs to move about freely. I was hoping that at best, they might help us to avoid an injury from slipping and help her to get up when she gets stuck. I didn't expect that her new found freedom would restore her confidence and encourage her to move more. She is once again following the family from room to room, getting up to look outside to see what's going on, and climbing the steps with ease. She's no longer bored, sleeping all of the time (ok, she still sleeps a lot, she is 17 after all) and generally disinterested in life. She's back to being our curious little shadow that is happy just to be near us. I hope to see some of her muscle tone come back, but for now, I'm just glad that she's visibly happier and more energetic. The small size was perfect for her. We tried these on all 4 feet, but found she only needs them on her back 2 legs which will help extend the time before we need to replace them. We do not let her wear them outside, so they have not shown any signs of wear and tear yet. Since we can rotate the pairs, we have washed and dried them several time without shrinking or damaging the tread. The Velcro is tightly sewn onto the sock so it does not get lost in the wash. Putting them on took a few tries, but once you figure it out, it's easy. I was pleased to see that they do not have any loose threads inside the socks that would snag her toes. I put them on like you would pantyhose (if you can remember those). Roll down the top as far as you can and then use both thumbs to spread the sock open and slide their foot inside. Once on, pull the toe portion out a little and spread out their toes to make sure they have wiggle room. We have been able to just barely close the Velcro around her ankle without them falling off because they do have some elasticity to them which helps keep them on her foot. This way, I don't have to worry about them being uncomfortably tight around her ankle. Your dog's activity level may necessitate tightening the Velcro to keep them secure. They have not twisted on her foot, but if they did, the tread wraps almost all of the way around which would help give her traction. Consider that when comparing these to other brands that only have traction on one side of the sock. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's so good to see her up and about again. I missed my shadow!

Senior dog loves them
Awesome product! I can’t believe I didn’t find these sooner. I have a 13 y/o senior dog who has arthritis, and slips on the wooden floors when he plays. When I put these on him, he’s like a new dog! They stay on his feet just fine and he seems much more confident to run after his toys without slipping and falling down. Safer for him. He lets me out then on him, no problem. Only 4 stars due to how challenging it can be to get them on because they are a tight sock at the top. Otherwise and awesome product.

BEST DOG FOOT PROTECTION EVER - no joke
These socks are ingenious! First of all, they are cute. Secondly, they fit like a glove! They are breathable, but strong enough that she can’t bite through. And when she does lick it wicks away the moisture so her foot underneath is dry despite licking. The grippy bottom on both sides so just in case the sock spins around is so smart. The Velcro around the ankle prevents slippage. Everything about these is so smart. I can’t praise it enough. And we have tried everything from a bag and a string around her foot to engineered boots (which she kicked off in 8 seconds) Oh and they’re washable!!!

Great for Very-Short-Term Use; They're Functionally "Very-Short-Term Disposable" Socks
We bought these socks for our golden retriever after we had our hardwood floors resurfaced. Our contractor recommended that our dog wear socks for at least 30 days while the coating on the hardwoods cures. Here's our impression after four weeks of use and wear: Pros: - They're easy to put on the dog, because they're stretchy, they have treads all over (such that there isn't just "one way" to put them on), and the Velcro is sewn on to the socks so you don't lose or fumble around with the Velcro strap. - Because the socks are stretchy, one size fits all four of our dog’s feet. We tried some more-durable, “formed” dog shoes, and we discovered that our dog’s back feet were a full size smaller than its front feet, such that the shoes were too big for the back feet and would fall off easily. That isn’t an issue or problem with these socks. - Unlike some other socks, the Velcro hooks face inward and thus cling to the socks. We’ve bought some other socks and shoes in which the Velcro hooks face outward, and with those, the hooks often cling to a rug or mat when the dog lays down, which can fray the rug or mat and sometimes pull the sock off of the dog's foot. - They're apparently comfortable for the dog, and our dog adapted to them very quickly. - They provide the dog with ample traction on the slippery, newly refinished floors. - They protect the floors from the dog's nails. Cons: -They're flimsy and disintegrate easily. The lower half of the sock (with the treads) wears and develops holes quickly even with mild indoor-only use. It develops holes pretty quickly from the inside of the socks from the dog’s nails, even though we keep our dog’s nails trimmed. If the dog feels an itch in her paw and tries to mouth or gnaw it (as dogs do), the sock develops holes quickly and with no real "chewing." We solved that issue by spraying "bitter apple" on the socks, but it requires a lot of bitter apple to spray the front and back of four socks, and that adds to the overall expense of the socks. To my surprise, the package for these socks suggests that the socks are suitable for use on pavement. We haven't purposely used these socks outside or on pavement. But on one occasion, when I was putting the socks on our dog in our garage, she escaped and scampered around outside on the pavement for a few minutes. By the time that I corralled her, the bottom half of the two socks that she was wearing were totally decimated. If you're thinking about using these socks on your dog outside, I'd think that these socks would deteriorate very quickly on pavement, even during a basic walk. - They're expensive and a terrible value over time. Because of the issues described above, we've gone through *six sets* of these over just *four weeks.* If we were inclined to have our dog wear socks on our hardwoods permanently or during a longer period, the expense of these socks (particularly when you include the expense of dousing them with bitter apple) would not be sustainable for us. Bottom line, I think these are a great product for very-short-term indoor use. Unless you have tons of cash to spend on dog socks, I do not recommend these socks for longer-term indoor use. (I’m still searching for my long-term solution!) I would not recommend them at all for outdoor walks on pavement.

Great traction for hardwood floors
I ordered the pink pair for my Golden Retriever, Ella, because our hardwood floors can get pretty slippery when she's running through the house. These socks have made a noticeable difference by giving her much better traction, especially when she's turning corners or getting up after lying down. The grips work well even when the socks twist a little, which was something I was curious about before trying them. They stay on better than several other dog socks we've used, and the material is soft enough that she doesn't seem to mind wearing them. They've also held up well after washing, and the grip material hasn't started peeling off. If you have a dog that struggles with slippery floors, these are definitely worth trying.

Life saver for our senior dog.
Our senior dog (pointer/lab mix) developed pretty bad arthritis in his back legs that started to cause his back legs to splay out from under him whenever he tried walking on our hard floors. It was heartbreaking. I ordered a couple of other leg braces and harnesses that were supposed to help stabilize his legs, but they all either fit badly or he couldn't sit/lay comfortably when wearing them. Decided to try these out as a last ditch effort to help him out. In less than 2 minutes after getting them on his back feet he was back on his feet and moving around safely and no more issues with his legs giving out. SIZING: His front paws measured out to XL on the chart and his rear feet measured out under the Large size, so we initially ordered Large. They did fit, but it was a challenge to get them on and the grip part didn't seem to extend back far enough to cover his whole foot. They worked fine, but did need to be adjusted several times a day. I decided to order a pair of the XL to try. The fit was not as tight, but the larger size (XL) provides a bigger grip surface, and they seem to be less prone to working their way down. If you're unsure, order a larger size. DURABILITY: Other reviews mention holes and things as a concern. Our whole house has hard surface floors, so we put them on him first thing in the morning and he wears them all day till bed including when he goes out into the yard to do his business. He wore the first pair for two weeks straight without any signs of significant wear or damage. Another review mentions the Velcro causing holes. They are knit socks, so yes, if you're not paying attention and let the strap adhere to the sock they will stick, and can cause a rip/hole, but the strap is long enough and sturdy enough that there's no reason that will happen unless you're just not careful when putting the socks on and off. The top sock part does stretch out with repeated use so they do slouch down over time, but that's to be expected. They're grippy socks. For dogs. With proper care these things seem like you'll be able to get a month or more of wear out of each pair easily. DESIGN: The listing states that the pattern of the grip makes these superior to other types of similar products because the grip on the foot part is designed in such a way that even if they rotate on the foot (they will) they still provide the same grip coverage. This is 100% accurate and really part of what makes these so effective. No matter how they are on the foot, the grip is always available to provide contact for the paw to grip. COMFORT: I mean I'm not wearing them, but all signs point to satisfaction. Our guy walked funny for a few steps when they first went on, but in 2 minutes he was more excited that he could walk without falling and was back to his old ways. He's never chewed them or picked at them. Doesn't mind them one bit. Now he'll wait in the morning for me to come and put them on him before he'll even attempt to navigate to the back door. EASE OF USE: It takes a hot minute to get the hang of putting them on. The instructions provided are helpful. Our guy is pretty laid back so he'll let you do whatever you need to do. Once they're on though they do stay put. You just have to work out getting the strap around at the best point on the foot and right tightness to keep them in place. Easier that putting on a pair of human compression socks, harder than putting on your gym socks, and definitely impacted by the willingness of your dog to cooperate. They're grippy socks. For dogs. PRICING: No complaints. At about $9 a pair, if I get a month out of them I'm satisfied! They're grippy socks. For dogs.

Great option
I honestly think these little socks gave us a few more quality weeks with our dog that we otherwise wouldn’t have had. They gave her some confidence and independence back. They are absolutely worth a shot if your dog is having traction problems, but they aren’t perfect. The biggest issue for me was having to remove them and put them back on every time she went outside. It was winter/early spring when we were using them, so it was very wet. On the rare dry day, I could just leave them on, and that was nice, so it wouldn’t have been as much of an issue if I was using them in the summer. The Velcro wore out way faster than I expected, so then it became a struggle to keep them from falling off. I only put them through the wash once or twice, and it’s not like she was rough housing or doing anything crazy to wear them out. Maybe it was all the removing and putting them back on? Regardless, like I said - not perfect, but absolutely worth a shot.

Game changer
My 14 year old got his confidence back. I rarely leave reviews but this is a game changer. We have hardwood floors everywhere and out dog kept falling/having issues to get up. He got scared of getting in the sofas and beds as he'd always slip and fall on his way back. Thanks to the Tiger Toks, he's back to feeling like the puppy he is. They also seem comf8for the dog, as he hasn't tried to take them off or chew them off. A little thing to keep in mind, really measure the paw, the sizing is really accurate. I thought the socks looked small for my dog when they arrived, but they actually fit like a glove.

Really good quality socks with the perfect grip for slippery floors
The best good boi socks in the Market. Gives my 12 year old husky a secure grip when he's walking on slippery floors that could lead to an injury. I don't have to worry about him slipping and falling when he has these on.

Worked well for price.
I really like these for my pup. They stay on for the most part. They’re not perfect, they do slide down a bit, but worked well for walking Central Park and the streets of New York on holiday. We ended up purchasing 3 pairs.

Muy buen antiderrapante y tela.
Excelentes!
