Hours of fun mechanics
Arrived early. My 9 year old loves this set. Keeps him busy for hours. Theres lots of small pieces to put together and handy tools to help all included.

Eight year olds will need to learn some really bad language while building this, enjoyed making it though to be honest.

As I had Mechano when I was a kid back in the 60s .I thought I would introduse my 8 yr old grandson to his first kit.If he enjoys it he will get a bigger set from Santa.

Too hard for age
Nice kit but age category is way off. The dexterity and difficulty of some of the pieces that require assembly are difficult for me (39) requiring octopus type hands to do some of the connectivity
