Works really well to stick a rug to a carpet. AND re-sticks if you have to take the the rug up again! EXCELLENT. Just be careful to do it properly...it will work!

Needed tape to prevent rug creeping out of place on carpet. Easy to apply, large enough roll for large rug. Seems to hold rug in place well but time will tell. Hence 4 stars. Edit : After a few days of activity in living room (mainly 3 dogs charging around) rug still firmly in place. Did adjust position of rug slightly so had to lift & replace. Tape still held firmly in place. Happy to now recommend & give 5 stars..

I read the item description and bought this to stick a runner rug to an industrial carpet in our garage. I put a length of this tape around the edge of the rug and removed the tape backing and stuck it down. For 2 days all was good, then the rug started to move again when walked on. The tape “rolled up” under the rug and we had to remove it from the runner rug. This was a marathon task in itself. However, it left a layer of adhesive on the back of the rug and worse still on the carpet. Now, every time we tread on the carpet our feet stick to the carpet. I can easily buy a new runner, but the carpet’s a different matter and I am at a loss what to do with it. If the adhesive on this tape is so strong, then there must be a problem with the bond between the tape and the adhesive? This was a total waste of money and effort, and has left us in a worse position than before we bought it. Be very careful where you use it and test an area first.

Absolutely brilliant stuff! I’ve have had 2 large rugs down in my lounge and hallway and did have non slip underlay but rugs still moved constantly- so annoying as the underlay I used was expensive ! Decided to try this carpet tape and wow - both rugs have not moved at all since using this judt over a week now! Brilliant stuff - highly recommend!

I bought this about a year ago to secure a rug on top on the carpet in my Mum's bedroom. It was so dangerous before using the tape as the rug was always curling and moving but she wouldn't let me take the rug up! The tape worked so well, the rug remained secure not moving an inch. It was so secure that I was worried about the time when I would take up the rug and remove the tape. I was sure dreadful marks would be left on the carpet. I needn't have worried. Initially it took a bit of strength to loosen the tape but once I'd started the process it came away very easily and there were no marks at all the carpet. I couldn't believe it. Excellent product, highly recommended.

Devo dire che per il mio tappetto è perfetto anche passando l'aspirapolvere non ha fatto una piega, non rimanene se lo stacchi, ho dovuto fare una modifica e si è tolto facilmente, usato anche per altre piccole cose molto buono

This carpet tape is the real deal but the reason I'm such a fan of it is because of the applications I've used it for aside from sticking rugs to the floor. Which by the way, it does INSANELY WELL. This is kind-of like krazy glue for your carpets or rugs ... with the added benefit of you being able to remove it whenever you pretty want to. Although, don't be fooled. This stuff is strong and it takes effort to remove it from the floor. It's so strong, it's torn off the perimeter fabric around some rugs of mine when I was trying to do things quickly, so I've learned that when I'm removing it, to go slowly. Once you use it to keep carpets in place, remember that you'll always have to vacuum AROUND them because they won't go easily, lol. The end result is a flawless appearance. No one would ever know you're using it and you can rest assured knowing no one will be busting their ahhhs thanks to slippery floors. Now, onto the real fun stuff: You know the pain of having to remove something sticky from a hard surface? It can be a nightmare, right? Well, believe it or not, this tape actually helps! This tape is sticky as hell. If it's too long in your hands, some residue of the sticky-stuff will remain on your hands or fingers but the best way to get rid of it is to do this: Get another little piece of tape, tape it to something so one side is no longer sticky and use the sticky side to remove the sticky leftover pieces on your hand. Yes, seriously, it's that simple. This stuff is so sticky that it has the power to pick up other sticky residues. I wish I had it when I had to remove my car inspection sticker so that the new one could be put on, I have a feeling it would have worked like a charm. Also, the value for money is crazy. I usually buy the 2x30 one and it lasts me easily 2 years. BY THE WAY, as far as ease of cutting, it isn't easy to cut. So, don't ever use scissors trying to cut this, you will just drive yourself nuts instead. Use a BOX CUTTER only. I hope this helps!

I needed a solution for my rugs. I’ve got five crazy cats with regular zoomies that drag my rugs from one room to another (literally). This provided a sturdy solution. I can’t say I haven’t had to redo some, but the roll is big and I’m so happy with the product that I’m willing to order more if needed.
