Sony Vegas Pro 13 (PC)

Despite it being labelled "pro" it is not professional. Still more of a hobby-ists tool. And like all complex software has it's frustrations, unexpected limitations and learning-curve. Particularly, finding the best rendering option; I have spent many hours trying different options, even downloading an additional H.264 codec (why isn't that there already?!), but have found for my workflow, out-putting as AVCHD the only feasible format. However for most of my edits it performs best of the bunch for value. Having started with Premiere Pro 20 years ago I can hardly recognise the interface workflow in CC version. All Adobe products seem to have got far too complicated trying to be all things to all people over the years and I don't want to shell £50 a month to Adobe for products I may not use full time.

Its a great software that does the same as premiere pro and final cut however unlike those there is one problem and that's the UI I find that the majority of common icons and names have been changed, meaning that coming from other softwares you may find it difficult to find what your looking, whereas with premiere and final cut you can switch between nicely, but overall a great software with what ive experience a much faster render time than the other two giants mentioned. but I'm personally sticking to premiere as my main.But for the price you really cant go wrong considering how expensive editing software is

Used this programme before and needed to do some editing for work so got this programme. very happy with the programme and I'm sure if offers a lot more than I need as the moment. Easy to use.

Can't review as yet as I need a bit more time to get to use the product. First impressions are that it's a great editing suite.

Great piece of software with someone fantastic features.Only downside for me is the constant crashes when trying to render with cuda.After doing some research there seems to be issues with cuda and Nvida cards which Sony are not addressing.

For my gaming boyfriend he loved this product for his YouTube channel good quality and runs well.

Good software, I do prefer Premiere Pro though

While not the best software out there it does everything I need it to do Does exactly what it says on the box
