Cash Budgeting Wallet (Black Matte), Zip Around, Accordion File System, Wristlet Strap, Women's Wallet

This is my second Savvy-Cents wallet. I had used my original for about 4 years, and while it was still functioning properly, I was in need of a new color! My first purchase was the hot pink which is more of a faux-patent leather texture. This time I went with the purple. I love the texture of the purple, it’s like a faux pebble leather. And of course, the adorable Savvy-Cents logo on front. This new model also includes a retractable also wrist strap which I love! This makes it so easy to just pack in my work bag and leave the purse at home. If not needed, the strap tucks in neatly. The wallet comes with 5 pockets and dividers for spending categories (with labels), 6 credit card sleeves and 2 clear ID spaces. There is also a roomy zip pocket on the back to hold coins or other small items. The whole thing zips so no worrying about things falling out. There is even an elastic strap with a snap closure to secure your cash in the side with the cash pockets. I can honestly say that this wallet has helped our budget tremendously. I love having separate categories to help stay organized.

I love the Savvycents wallet! It has slots for 8 cards, with a spot to stick extra if needed. It also has 5 spaces for cash categories, for those of us who cash budget or if you like to keep your cash denominations separate. Plus a large zipper pocket on the outside for change. This is my second wallet, the first I bought 5 years ago is still holding up strong I just wanted a new color.

I started using the Dave Ramsey envelope system about a year ago and have already replaced the flimsy envelopes twice that his wallet system uses. I began a search for a better system and after reading other reviews that mentioned the Ramsey system, I bought this wallet! It arrived very fast and after organizing it all, I LOVE it! Comparison to the Dave Ramsey traditional envelope system: It is about 1/4" taller, 1/2" wider, and 1/2" thicker (depending on how much you put inside) than the brown Ramsey cash system. Pros: All cash fit easily in the various compartments without stuffing or fumbling The D. Ramsey envelopes fit inside with the cash in order to continue tracking spending (this was a huge plus) All of the cash compartments can be secured closed to the wallet with a stretchy snap- love this. There is room for your cards/ID's coupons etc. Zipper coin pouch in the back It all closes together with a convenient zipper Cons: It has a very strong "new factory" smell but I am sure that will go away soon with use I wish there were more than three color options but I chose blue so I can easily find it in my purse (aka the abyss) Overall: I love this wallet for the cash system! If you are a Dave Ramsey fan (which you should be anyways) or not, this is perfect for using cash or coupons!

I love this wallet! This is a tremendous help for me as we manage our money using the envelope system. The DR paper envelopes just didn't work for me as they are not easy to open, take money out, close up again and put away. Plus, paper wears out over time and the envelopes would need to be replaced. Also, I don't want to be obvious about carrying cash. With two little ones, I needed something that was quick and easy. This classy looking wallet definitely fits the bill. There are little stickers (Gas, Grocery, Restaurants, Clothing, Entertainment, and 6 blank) that you can use to label the 5 different sections. I just slip the receipt in the section so later I can update my excel spreadsheet. A strap with snap keeps that whole section together and there's a zippered pouch on the back for change. There is a bit of new "pleather" smell but it's fading. The only thing I wished is that there was room for a few more card slots because although I don't carry credit cards, I do have insurance cards for every family member, library cards, educator discount card, etc. With a little bit of maneuvering, I've found a way to make it work. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. I hesitated to spend $29 on what I perceived to be a luxury but now I am so thankful that I did because it's helping me stay focused on our financial goals and I feel good about paying cash for things with this stylish wallet.

This case is absolutely perfect for my Dave Ramsey Budget Envelope system! I refuse to use paper envelopes, and also did not want to buy Dave's system as it is only paper and is not secure enough for my cash. (Shame shame Dave!) Everything is secure, the wallet holds all my cards, cash, coins, and IDs. The brown is beautiful and appears to be a nice leather. The smell everyone seems to be reviewing is not a very strong smell in my opinion. It goes away very quickly. This wallet is worth every one of your hard earned pennies. I sincerely love that it has a hide-away wristlet strap and a place for change that does not bulge out of the wallet. If only it held your phone as well then it would be utterly unbeatable. Regardless, this is a fantastic wallet and I will suggest it to everyone I know who uses a budget system. Thanks Savvycents!

I always read reviews before purchasing and most are true: It's a bit pricey for not being leather; however, it's the best for what's out there. I am doing the Dave Ramsey system as well and this is a much better quality than what his sight offers. Slots for the ID/Insurance cards are a bit tight. There could be a few more slots for other/business cards, (which are ok in size) and maybe 1-2 spending categories. Other than that, I experienced NO smell and it's very spacious. If you're analytical like me, it's WORTH the investment. I really do like it! Great product.

Great for separateing cash

This is my second wallet by this seller. I absolutely love it. Its very duranle and cute. Its worth the price. I bought another one to have to switch out when i feel like it or to replace the one that is used most often. Both are of great quality material. Have never had any issues with the zippers or it changes its shape from heat or use. The little file dividers are of good quality also. I put my wallets through hell, so the only things i replaced are the paper lables for thendividers. Its thick and long so if you use smaller size purses it will probbaly not fit. Checkm dimensions.
