FitBeast Back Roller, Back Wheel Foam Roller - Targeted Muscle Roller for Deep Tissue Massage, Back Stretcher

Build: The build quality of the Fitbeast foam roller is simple, but very solid. The inner ring (apparently made of racing helmet material) has a smooth finish. There is text embossed to indicate which side is the more firm, but this is pretty obvious just from pressing the nubs. The foam layer is firmly attached to the inner ring. As indicated above, the roller itself is half firm and half softer. It also has a channel down the middle where there are no nubs to avoid the spine. I thought that was a really nice feature that has been lacking on other products that I’ve used. I go a bit further into comfort below. After a month’s use, I can’t see any wear on the roller. It seems like something that will last a long time. I have purchased other Fitbeast products before including various grip strength tools and gymnastic rings. I incorporate most of these items into my daily routine and have had no issues with quality after having used some of their products for 3+ years. I definitely recommend the brand. Usage: I’m a big fan of foam rollers and have a small collection that I’ve accumulated over the last 5-6 years. I have rotated between a standard 6” diameter roller, a more aggressive knobby roller, and one that runs between the shoulder blades. They all have their purpose, but also drawbacks. My bumpy roller was too aggressive, especially on my shoulder blades. I also felt that it was too aggressive near my spine. I found it useful, but often painful. The type that ran between my shoulder blades didn’t do anything that my standard roller would do and wasn’t aggressive enough. After having used the Fitbeast for a month, I think I will eliminate those two from the workout space. I can’t imagine giving up the 6” roller. It’s very versatile for the whole body. I think the Fitbeast roller shines when used on the back. I have tried it to foam roll my legs a bit. It was effective, but I think that the 6” roller is just a bit easier for that application since it’s closer to the ground. That said, for any back application, the Fitbeast roller is hands down the most effective foam roller I’ve used. I’m a software engineer and sit a lot, so I use foam rollers daily for maintenance. I’ve used the Fitbeast daily for a month for both maintenance and on several occasions where I had a particular need to foam roll. It has always been very comfortable to use and it does a great job helping to work the tight areas in my back. I like the bigger yoga wheel since it gives my back a nice stretch. It doesn’t irritate my shoulder blades or spine so I can get the therapeutic effect without the discomfort so I much more relaxed when I use roller. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I’m 6’4 and 310lbs. This roller works great for me. It cracks my back every time. It’s like having a chiropractor at all times. It’s also great for stretching.

These Fit Beast wheels are awesome! Just as pictured, they are very sturdy and wider than my more expensive name brand wheels. The extra width allows for better balance when rolling backwards over the wheels. There's no chance of rolling off of the wheels and hurting oneself like I do with my other wheels. The bumps on them are firm but slightly squishy, which gives the muscles a bit of massage. I like the 3 different sizes for different areas of my body, but tend to use the medium size the most. The wheels fit inside of each other, which makes transporting and storing them a breeze. They work well, are a super value for what I paid, are sturdy, help in stretching the back, resulting in some good popping, and help alleviate my back pain. I use these before seeing the chiropractor and most nights before bed. These are a great, inexpensive addition to an adult's daily stretch and wellness routine!

The packaging was very nice, and came with a nifty user guide for people that have never rolled used anything like this. The product worked very well. I loved the 2 different foam densities. My two year old has been playing with it as well and it is made out of super sturdy material! Maybe because I am petite, but it would have been nicer a little smaller or even if you offer two different sizes.

I've got a bunch of these and this is my favorite. It's a decent price compared to the others and incorporates some of the best traits from others. It pops my back and provides a deep massage to my back and neck. And appears solidly construted.

The ridges are just too far apart for someone with a smaller frame, so it completely misses the muscles on either side of my spine. Even the height is a bit too high for a smaller woman. Would work very well for someone much larger than myself.

I have a problem with instability in my joints, as well as fibromyalgia, so I deal with a lot of muscle stiffness, my neck & shoulders are sometimes hard as rocks. I had a plain 12 inch yoga wheel for a few years that I used regularly, until the yoga mat peeled off the outside. I decided to get this set to replace it. I mostly use the middle sized wheel. It stretches so deeply, the numbs definitely make it better than a plain wheel. My back cracks so much when I roll on this, and I’m able to stretch everywhere I need to. It’s not deep enough to where I don’t also need massage when I’m overly stiff, but it helps so much and gives my husband less work. When I’m having an especially stiff neck, I use the small one. I will even roll on it some, it cracks me deeply. My husband likes the biggest wheel. He does often need to stretch out his back, but not as often or as deeply as I do. Even that one is better than the large plain wheel alone. I’ve had this set for months now, and have used it almost daily and there isn’t any wear or anything breaking off. It seems sturdy like it will last for years.

It is hard to keep balance at beginning, my suggesstion is make knobs at both side of the edge, then the wheel can touch the ground stablly. it can relax my back, but it is a little bit expensive.
