Product arrived on time and of very high quality being dry, free flowing and lump free. The only negative was that the original packaging had been damaged and had been taped up and a small amount of the product was "leaking" out. This was not a problem for me but the delivery man was not too pleased. In general a very good performance.

The product was delivered on time and sealed, but on opening it was found to be in a damp condition.Part has been used and appears to be killing the moss. However I am concerned that the remainder may deteriorate and be difficult to use.

Bought this to kill the moss in a large lawn. I applied it in two ways, the first was to dissolve the crystals in water at a rate of 10g/litre and applied with a watering can. This worked splendidly, the moss was killed uniformly within 20 minutes, and the grass which was not damaged in any way, greened up noticeably within a couple of days...perfect. As the lawn was so large, the watering can method was very time consuming and so I applied the Iron Sulphate by hand to the rest of the lawn, this is tricky to do. It resulted in patchy areas, some treated, some not and some so heavily treated that it temporarily turned the grass black. However, it didn't rain for a couple of days after I applied it and if it had, that would have helped wash the powder off the grass and into the moss. Iron Sulphate is a wonder treatment for moss, it will literally kill the moss while you watch, you'll see colour change in the moss virtually instantly. Forget expensive and difficult to apply weed and feed/lawn sand and get some of this powder, applied in a watering can it'll transform your lawn in a cost effective way. It kills moss, greens the lawn and toughens up the grass. Highly recommended.

Extremely effective, quick acting and a little goes a long way. I would recommend doing trials. The first watering can I used claimed to have a fine spray but despite me trying to cover the measured area as quickly as possible, the can was empty before I had covered half the area. Subsequent blackening of the moss then demonstrated how erratically I had watered the area in my haste. A spreader bar was little better as it left streaks consistent with the spacing in the spreader bar. I then purchased for a couple of pounds, a fine rose which was shaped half way between a conventional rose and a spreader bar (no brand name on it, I'm afraid) and this gave a very even coverage and emptied the can perfectly in the measured area with me walking across it at a controlled slow pace. The contrast between the treated area and the non treated area is remarkable. It is far, far cheaper than standard commercial lawn preparations and there is no danger of scorching from over-application or the end of row spillage you get when using a spreader to distribute granules.

Product worked for moss control but it was received in a damp condition and because I was not using all the product at once, I had to dry it out for storage........very inconvenient and I doubt if I would purchase again from MIstral.

Does what it says on the pack. Put it on the grass in the evening and by the next morning the moss had turned black. Happy with this product.

all good does just like you expect kills moss and large weedsonly negative is its a crystalline lumpy mixture rather then the dry kind but still works fine

For the roses, but also good for making new wood look old
