Pioneer TS-G170C 17 cm Component G Series 2 Way Speakers with Separate Tweeters

Sounds much nicer than the stock speakers, needed to buy wiring adapters for the tweaters and main speakers, but other than that they fit straight in :) tweaters came with adapters to fit the in the dash perfectly, and the holes on the main speaker matched up so no need for any adapters :)

bit skeptic on these as the price is way too low comparing competition. I was looking at focal is165toy which is direct Toyota fitment component set...well wasn't prepared to spend £130. I own Toyota Auris Mk2 Hybrid and decided instead of getting new car, do some improvements. Bought Noico sound deadening also from Amazon and closed cell 6mm foam roll and sound absorption acoustic foam. did the doors and fitted those Pioneer speakers. Bass is great, nice clear mids and highs great for £32. I'm not sure if You get same result without proper insulation, but I did nice tunnel from 6mm foam and it did improve bass kick. Love them so much I just bought second set for rear door. I have only one speaker at back now so need to drill little hole to fit the tweeters. But it's worth the hassle. Tweeter comes with nice covers so overall, very satisfied

Don't know it more expensive product are better or if good volume is now only expected using amps?Back to theseMid woofer full range was easy fit good sound some bass, not as deep rolling as oem better than jbl stage, but little flat in vocal range had to ballance out with eq,Tweeter was small, not so universal to fit honda civic, it's subtle set to higher of high frequencies, at Lower volumes feel they miss little something between vocal and mid highs,But over all not a bad speaker or sound, will be using with sub,

I bought these to fit on my boat and wasn't expecting much but these speakers are surprisingly good! A bit of tuning with the head unit and these things came alive. The tweeters may be a little weak but it's the quality of the low end which makes these great value for money.

I bought these speakers as an upgrade from factory ones which were quite good. I thought they'd be a simple swap but it turns out you need a 6.5inch mounting cover as these speakers are quite chunky. Sound wise they are ok but still need a few adjustments, may even resort to factory speakers if the clarity isn't there.

I ordered 2x sets of these speakers for a Lupo, and they sound absolutely amazing for the price especially compared to OEM speakers!They pair well with any decent car radio with a full band EQ and are capable of lovely crisp sound, they're also able to keep up with some decent low notes however past 50hz seem to struggle, which is fair for a 2 way speaker setup.

Installed them into a Vauxhall insignia, and sounded much better than the original stock speakers. Despite other comments here about not enough bass, these are not subwoofers, and they sound great for the price.FYI, the tweeter capacitors are in the cable provided. Make sure you use it, otherwise u will blow the tweeters.

I replaced a set of Vibe Slick 60 6.5” speakers that had more bass (I did a side by side comparison).These speakers produce clean mid/high notes but the bass it’s terrible. It’s cheaper to buy better speakers than pay for a standalone subwoofer to our with these.
