Who or What Killed the Cat
Having watched the particular scene three times I am totally unsure what happened to the cat apart from the fact that it died, and the reaction of Andreas and Stefan was to put it bluntly over the top! From then on the way they handled their grieving for me became more boring as the film went on, and I became more interested in their circle of colleagues and friends. This not a film I could suggest people watch, but I did feel for the actors who must have had to work exceptionally hard to keep up the level of raw emotion they were showing.

lovely piece of cinema. Some character transitions not always clear, but this quality work gives hope for the future.

Not purrfect but interesting account of a relationship taken to breaking point
A slow-moving, classy tale of a loving relationship that is sorely tested by an occurrence that comes about seemingly accidentally. The gradual unfolding of the relationship of the two men within their close-knit coterie of friends in a classical orchestra is fascinating. The two leading actors' performances are subtle: it is a beautifully loving relationship that is nearly destroyed by what seems like a freak accident but which is starting to heal as the film ends.

just unbelievable
obviously the first reviewer did not watch the same film i did. I had a cat for 24 years and was besotted with her but not to the extreme of that idiot to turn on his partner like that, this film was totally unbelievable and also no eye candy to make up for it , just two very unattractive almost middle age men and im not fussy as i am a pensioner
