Question 1

I am planning to stock-up on these but I only give them as training treats. What are the expiry dates? Mine will last longer than most people's.

Accepted Answer

You might want to get one of the 16 oz bags, http://www.amazon.com/Ziwipeak-Air-Dried-Dog-Food-Beef/dp/B00LPDI34Q/ref=sr_1_30?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1432725469&sr=1-30 ,first and see how long that lasts you. My local pet store sometimes has trial size bags you can buy. I just have a 10lb shih tzu so the 2lb bags of ziwipeak last her for a whole month of meals. If you have several &/or large dogs then it might be worth it to get the 2lb bag to use as treats. While there are no preservatives in it, it is air dried to last a while. I've never noticed any difference in the food between the day I opened it and the day at the end of the month that I feed the last cup out of the bag. So I wouldn't really worry about it going bad or anything. Just make sure the pouch is sealed and don't store it in direct sunlight.

Question 2

Will my picky dog eat this?

Accepted Answer

While it is very difficult to know whether a picky pet will like a food or not, our ZIWI recipes are definitely a hit with dogs all around the world. Most dogs love our food because it contains 96% meat, organs, and green-lipped mussels. We do our best to follow a whole-prey methodology and try to mimic what a dog would eat if living in the wild. We hope if you do decide to try the food, your dog will love it!

Question 3

How long would this last for my 40lb dog, I feed him 1 1/2 cup daily?

Accepted Answer

Sounds like a lot.

Maybe a cup a day, or less. These are really good and my dog loves them, she is about 35 # and gets maybe 1/2 cup per day.

Question 4
