Why I bought it: I bought this set to upgrade from my blu-ray copies and do a full Harry Potter marathon in 4K. I already have seen the movies, so I wanted the best version of the full series in one bundle. Experience: The picture quality is excellent across the whole collection. On my 77" Sony BRAVIA 8 OLED, these movies look amazing, especially the later films with the darker visuals and bigger effects. The 4K presentation makes the whole marathon feel more cinematic and much more impressive than my old Blu-rays. The sound is also a huge part of the experience. I watched with a 7.0 speaker setup and no subwoofer, and it still sounded epic. The action scenes, music, and atmosphere all come through really well, and it made the movies feel much bigger than a normal streaming watch. The packaging was fine for me, and I like having the whole series together instead of buying the movies separately. Verdict: This is expensive, but most 4K discs are, and as a full 8-movie bundle I think it is a great value. If you are a Harry Potter fan and want a serious upgrade for rewatching the series, this set is absolutely worth it.

This set has 8 4kUHD blu-ray discs, and 8 standard blu-ray discs. The 4k blu-ray discs DO NOT contain any special features, I checked each disc. The standard blu-ray discs DO contain some special features as follows: Disc 1 (Sorcerer's Stone) has in movie experience with chris columbus and BD-Live, and includes the 159 minute length movie. Disc 2 (Chamber of Secrets) has in movie experience with chris columbus and BD-Live, and includes the 174 minute length movie. Disc 3 (Azkhaban) BD-live Disc 4 (Goblet of Fire) has in movie experience and BD-live. Disc 5 (Order of Pheonix) has in movie experience, focus points and BD-live. Disc 6(Half-Blood Prince) has maximum movie mode, focus points and BD-live. Disc 7(Deathly Hallows 1) has maximum movie mode, focus points and BD-live. I would have preferred some more details in the description of what you get in each package, and I hope that amazon does a better job seperating reviews from product to product as some of the reviews DO NOT apply to the 4kUHD set.

The 4K transfers of these movies are the best they have ever looked at home. And I like that the price is decent and they are all in one case (one for 4K and one for Blu-Ray). The cases are horribly designed and made, however. The first set I received looked OK on the outside. Shrink wrapped with a minor wrinkle in the upper right front corner. Once opened, the disc trays, which were snapped in, fell out. The discs fell out. The border of both cases was cracked to the point that pieces of plastic fell out as I opened them. I could not re-close them after opening them. I toyed with trying to tape them up and keep them, but it would have been frustrating every time I opened the pack. The plastic is very thin also. I returned the set and asked for a replacement. It arrived with a dented corner as well. The top of the Blu-Ray case was cracked but not nearly as bad as the first set. The 4K case was good, so I kept the set and taped the top of the cracked case. Just be aware that there is a 50/50 chance that the set you order will arrive damaged. Both were bubble wrapped but it looked like maybe they had been damaged in the case shipment.

I've never watched any of the Harry Potters actually. I am a gamer however so in preparation to getting the game I decided to watch them all. I've yet to do this, but did want to make some things known to the many other ethnicities out there. I read the reviews from other countries and was sad to see so many got this set without knowing certain discs didn't have their language. Before I get to that long list, it is important to note (for other Harry newbies like me) that the first movie "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" is different in the USA and is called "...the Sorcerer's stone". Also the 4k versions did not get Dolby Vision or Dolby ATMOS, but they are all HDR10 and DTS:X in English. The audio however changes for the different language preferences. Here is that very long list to show each movie and it's available language selections per disc as well as the audio format you can expect to see (hear). Lastly, I listed the movies in order one would watch them if like me and has never seen any of them. As a lifelong Harry Potter fan since I was born around age I fell in love with Harry especially Hermione & Snape, the magic.. I love this world & finally having a 4k set in perfect condition. Amazon & the manufacturing company, you made a heart & soul so happy more than it’ll ever mean to you all. Seriously, Thank You. Thank you JK Rowling & I can’t wait for the HBO MAX tv series. I can watch these forever. I feel so comfortable shipping from Amazon when they package it so nicely and the drivers get it here so professionally. The Harry Potter: 8-Film Collection in 4K Ultra HD delivers amazing picture and sound quality, making it a must-have for fans who want the best viewing experience. However, if you’re interested in watching the films with cut scenes included, there are some important details to know that took me way too long to figure out. First, only Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets offer an option to watch an extended version with cut scenes seamlessly integrated into the movie. For Prisoner of Azkaban through Deathly Hallows Part 2, there’s no extended version—you can only view the deleted scenes separately through the Blu-ray disc menus, this is because directors are stingy with their art and think they know better than the fans (ew). The 4K UHD discs don’t include these cut scenes at all, so if you want to watch them, you’ll need to switch to the Blu-ray versions, which are included in the set. Now for fans who want the full experience, cut scenes in the film as they should be, Peacock offers the films with the cut scenes included for movies 1–8. However, Peacock speeds up the end credits, which shortens the runtime compared to versions on HBO Max that don’t have the cut scenes. To get around this, I watch the movies on Peacock Premium (Ad free),for the extended content, then switch to HBO Max when the credits roll so I can enjoy the music at its original speed. As for the physical set, mine arrived with some kind of greasy residue inside—probably from the manufacturing process—which was gross but wiped off easily without affecting the discs’ performance. Despite these quirks, I still love owning the collection in 4K. It’s perfect for high-quality viewing, especially when friends are over who don’t care about the extended versions and just want to enjoy the films in the best possible resolution. Plus, it’s nice to have the discs as a backup when streaming isn’t an option.

Apesar de não constar nas informações o Bluray não tem opções PT-BR somente no 1° filme. E no 4k não tem opções em PT-BR nos filmes 1 e 7.1.

La colección completa en la mejor calidad al momento, el 4K HDR se luce increíble y el sonido es majestuoso. Actualización, adquirí recién un AVR DENON con DTS X y solo he vuelto a decirles WOW!!! El sonido es aún más que increíble, hay mucha actividad en las bocinas de altura (para las cuales sugiero un amplificador externo) desde viento, aves, en fin, en "el prisionero de Azkaban" Harry y compañía visitan la casa de Hagrid, fue con el DTS X que pude notar que hay murciélagos en su casa, se oyen por toda la sala. En resumen, es una muy buena mezcla de DTS X. 👍🏼
