Luis Martinez will question things that you have done in your past and make you wonder if it was right and at the same time make you happy that the things mentioned in the book you didn't have to deal with or fight yourself about. Give it a try and see for your self,

This book speaks to everyone. As you read it you feel yourself becoming the author reliving the situations in the book. Many of the readers will find that they have many things in common with many aspects of the book. The book is written in a way that everyone will understand it and get the point of the book. The author’s words not only made me think but made me feel. Only advice I have for other readers is to make sure to have time to read it, because once you start you are not going to want to put it down.

"Loser" by Luis Martinez is a book worth reading!! The self reflection in this book is so raw and honest, it leaves you questioning yourself and how in touch with reality you really are. When you read this book it's like going into Lewis's personal diary and you are able understand how he became the man he is today and it also demands your respect. Growth and awareness are the words that come to mind when reading the last page of this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a straight forward tell of one man's life. Reading "Loser" is worth your time!

Loser takes you on a journey that anyone can relate to. Albeit different experiences, everyone has somehow been in his shoes. Courageous in sharing his most vulnerable thoughts, the author has embraced the reasons behind his struggles. This was a beautiful depiction of the authors journey, lessons and hope for the future. You will truly enjoy this page turner.

What an amazing and REAL read! I was able to get before Thanksgiving so with my family over they kept asking for it and of course I directed them to buy their own! :) I finished it in the break room at work and again was asked by my employees to borrow...I said no no no you need to have your own copy! YES that good!!! IT REALLY SPOKE TO ME! I can't wait to see what's next!.....patiently waiting! :)

This is a man's reflection of how his life evolved from the streets to a positive life style. He is brutally honest in his reflection of his life and the decisions he made along the way. It should make all of us look into what we do and why we do. We all experience ups and downs in our walk through life - Luis is candid to share with us how he dealt with those experiences. This is an excelllent read for someone who is in the "streets" and is looking to make a change. Well done, Luis.

Loser is a middle aged man coming to terms with the decisions he has made so far. It’s gritty and unapologetic. A fast read.

I could not put down! This author just speaks truth, what we are all thinking but either can’t put into words or just don’t have the heart to say. I felt as if I knew him personally by reading what he went through in life, I highly recommend this book and all his other ones also.
