This is a great resource for those who are heavy into Illustrator. It’s highly valuable for this program and this program only. Don’t get it and expect the same shortcuts for all of Adobe Suite. Other than helping with shortcuts and hot keys, it does offer great protection for your keyboard and it’s easy to clean. It fits better on my Apple keyboard rather than the bulkier keys on other keyboards.

UPDATE: I had to knock this down by a couple of stars. What I said when I first wrote this is still (largely) true, in my mind. One of the things that I've noticed, though, is that the protector doesn't lay completely flat on the keyboard; it bubbles up right around the space bar and the Command keys. Luckily, I haven't had anything bad happen to the keyboard as a consequence of this, but it does make it difficult to type at times, especially if I'm trying to do a lot of keyboard commands instead of going up to the pull-down menus for basic functions (copy/paste, save, etc.). I couldn't quite justify going all the way down to one star for it, because I still think it's an OK product, but I'm definitely not as happy with it as I was when I first got it, and I'm at the point of being willing to replace this with the original transparent keyboard protector I bought when I first got the laptop. I can find the codes elsewhere, or else I can get/make cue cards for myself if I really want them. Bummer, I really had a lot of hope for this one.Obviously, there's not a lot of real estate/key to put the cheat sheet elements onto the skin. I knew that was a given going in. The print is REALLY small, so if that's going to be a problem for you, you may want to look at other options. It doesn't bother me too much, but I know people who would really struggle with the size of the print on this.The other thing is that this skin is totally opaque. If you rely on the backlighting for your keyboard, you're going to want a transparent skin to use for this. Understandable why they would have to do it this way, but still, that is a concern.In terms of the feel of it, I really like it. It's just grippy enough that your fingers won't go sliding all over the skin. It still allows for accuracy when typing.It fits securely and seems like it would be fully protective. It leaves plenty of space for the fingerprint sensor as well. That's the only weak point in terms of spill protection, but that's the nature of the beast. You're going to have that on any keyboard skin you purchase. That's not worth downgrading this skin, but it's something to be aware of. Keep your drink away from the keyboard and you won't have to worry about it. :)I like the layout in terms of the key functions in gray at the top of each key, and the color coding between the Command, option, and shift keys as well. Nicely done here!

I was sooooo excited about this and wanted one for soo long. Kind of was bummed out that the description of the tools are too small to read. Like where it shows a colored square and then white text by it.Ease of install: a breeze just put over keyboard.Quality: seems like good quality.Value of money: sorry for the price being given, I would maybe find an alternative. Maybe if they change the text size that would be a game changer. 😬

I just got a new laptop and like being able to protect the keyboard from spills and debris from getting into the computer. The keyboard cover fits perfectly on the newest MacBook Pro 16. The cover is very thin and barely noticeable on the keys. The shortcut keys are nice and brightly colored to make it so much easier to quickly use Adobe Illustrator without having to try to figure out what shortcuts are available. I am new to using Adobe so this is a huge timesaver. The only issue I have is the printing on keys is small but it has to be to fit onto each key, so for older eyes you have to look more closely but the color codes makes up for that. I am very pleased with this cover.

I've been using Illustrator for over 30 years now. I started my graphic deisgn career on monochrome monitors when we specified colors but had no idea what anything would look like until it came back from the printers. So I've been through many years of Illustrator but have not devloped that many keyboard shortcuts. So I thought this keyboard overlay would help that, maybe improve my flow. Well. it takes a bit to get used to, with alll the different color codes and sections. Plus the print is pretty small too. At least it fits well over my 14" inch PwerBook and doesn't slide around on the keys. I continue to bring it along with me in my laptop case and do take it out to use when I am using Illustrator for a project. IN that way, it does what it is supposed to, but I guess I am still getting used to it, here 1 month later.

I'm so happy with this Illustrator keyboard cover. It fits my 2021 16'' MacBook Pro keyboard perfectly, with a cutout for the Touch ID sensor. So far all of the keyboard shortcuts look accurate. I wish I had had this years ago when I started using Illustrator -- it would have made my life so much easier. It's so easy to read all the shortcuts, and even learn something new! The material is a soft silicone -- it is easy to clean and it doesn't make dust cling to it like some silicone. I am so happy with this.

This is a great item for anyone in the process of learning the ins and outs of Adobe illustrator. There are so many shortcuts to memorize, and this keyboard cover makes that part of the learning a breeze. It fit my MacBook perfectly, and didn't interfere with keyboard function at all. As a matter of fact, it protects my keyboard from crumbs and errant splashes of water. Very pleased!

This was super thin and feels a little cheap. It doesn't stay on my 2023 Mac keyboard nicely either. It would be great for a new learner but it is sort of annoying and gets in the way.
