Love this stuff! Too be honest, I wasn't sure that I would like the notion of putting "beef tallow" on my skin instead of my regular face cream. I read the reviews and thought I would try it out. Firstly, I love that this product is from a family farm in the United States. Secondly, it is amazing! Not greasy, not heavy and a little goes a long way. My skin feels fantastic and soft all day long, and I think my makeup looks better when I use this. I also love the fact that I'm not putting chemicals on my face. I wasn't sure about getting away from the other creams that fight aging, wrinkles, and smooth out skin tone, but I never noticed any results from those products and this just feels so nice that I don't care. My teenage daughter with sensitive skin also uses, and loves it. I wish they made a whole body product, but I don't think that would be financially prudent for the consumer. My advice is to try it!

Okay I will admit that I was extremely skeptical when I first purchased this product. I've used it for a week now and I have to say that I absolutely love it. This tallow butter is probably the only skincare product I'll buy from now on. The smell is earthy and nice. Not overpowering or unpleasant. I'm going to order the orange one next. You get a really great amount of product for the price and it goes a long way. I can't exactly pinpoint what it's doing for my skin, but I love the way I look after using it, like my face looks healthier and happier. I feel like I look younger! It can take a bit to fully absorb but my skin feels like a baby's bottom now, so soft I can't stop touching it. 11/10. I would highly recommend this product and I will 1000% buy again.

This is an amazing product for dry skin. Being middle aged and living in a desert climate, I am constantly looking for face moisturizer that actually hydrates long term. This tallow does exactly that so much so that close friends have commented on how nice and hydrated my skin looks, and this was only after a week using this tallow every night. It is truly a game changer that penetrates deep into the skin leaving no greasy residue. The result is skin that looks more plump and less prone to irritation. The tallow seems to create a barrier against wind and cold. I've tried the herb infused and the coffee vanilla. Both are good but the coffee vanilla seemed more whipped and I loved the subtle fragrance. Either way this is great quality tallow and I will be back for more.

Hearth & Homestead is my go to beef tallow face moisturizer. It’s whipped like butter and feels silky on the skin.A little goes along way.I also have used it for my dry lips. Amazing !!!!My husband & kids even started using it as a daily moisturizer.I don’t think I can ever go back to a regular drugstore brand.Our skin looks smooth, healthy and glowy.The two scents I’ve used are the herb infused and vanilla orange scent.I will say the herb scent has no real scent but it has an after smell of beef. Not strong but super light. It does not bother me, but it did my kids.Just thought I’d share that piece of info.For that note, I now use the vanilla orange scent.So far, vanilla orange scent is our favorite.My plan is to try all the scents. Next round I will purchase from thier website as they have bigger sizes and they have the TALLOW BALM FULL COLLECTION for $220 yikes ! But I’m a customer forever now, and like I said, I can never go back to a regular drugstore brand again.The jar is a small 1.3 oz for $29, lasts me about 1 month (for family of 4) but well worth it.This is my opinion on this product & my experience. So if you’re looking to make the change I hope I’ve helped a little. I went into this blindly and tried 2 other brands before coming across Hearth & Homestead…. I’m so happy I found this product.

I'm not exaggerating when I say, I'm in love with this product and will buy it for the rest of my life!! I have dry, sensitive skin and the older I get the worse it gets. Everything I've used previously (even unscented products) leave my skin burning, red and rashy. I've only had this product for two days and I already see and feel a huge difference in my skin! I regret not taking before and after pics to share and look back on for myself. The reddnes on my cheeks has drastically diminished, and the dry, rashy areas are literally gone already. Not only can I see the difference, I can feel my skin tightening up as well. Didn't know it could help firm the skin, but I'll take it! I apply it twice a day. Once after washing my face in the morning and again at night before I go to bed. My tallow is a little gritty, and I know there's a way to rewhip it, but with my luck I'd probably mess it up somehow and honestly it softens right up when applied to your skin so it's not a big deal to me. I also ordered the Nectar serum, should be delivered in a few days, and I'm looking forward to adding that to my nightly routine! With all the positive changes I've seen in my skin in only two days, I can only imagine what it will feel and look like as the days and weeks go by. I never leave detailed reviews, but this product, in such a short time, made me love having a skin care routine again and gave me some confidence back! In my opinion, this product/company deserves all the positive attention it can get! Thank you, Lily and Josh, for making a clean, natural, nourishing product and sharing it with the world!
