I researched every electric fireplaces that Way Fair or anyone had for sale. I ordered the first one it came little logs and was extremely realistic even had the crackling noise, however, it stuck out from the wall about a good 12 to 14 inches and would look great it you were putting it on a back wall that the entrance/exit to the room was not any where near it. Read carefully before you choose. The next one my son helped me choose and what a perfect choice! My bedroom is in the basement and it gets very very cold down here. This fireplace which has a remote but in case you lose it a hidden panel on the front. It heats up the entire 3 bedroom basement and kitchen and bathroom in 15 min. It’s has endless possibilities for flame colors as well as rock bed. Two blowers at the top that blow out front not up potentially burning up your tv. You can set the timer so if you wake up freezing I set it for 2 hours and go back to bed so when my kids get up it’s nice and warm and this fireplace creates a lot of atmosphere. From the side view it sticks out as far as my flat screen tv I mounted. To mount this fireplace all you need is a drill and a stud finder. From start to finish it was mounted to the wall and working in less then 15min. You can also just have the fireplace lit up with no heat on tho days you don’t need the heat but would enjoy a cozy fire. In the top left hand side there is a cutout for your remote. It would be absolutely impossible for it to fall behind or die into it as I have read on others. Take a min. And just play with it. I keep the instructions next to bed and even now after having it 4 months I’ve had zero problems and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. It was an excellent value for the money. Power bill did not go up ski high and it’s extremely versatile in aesthetics. You can have a very modern, contemporary look to a very traditional look. You can make the flames extremely bright or dim. You can make them very high or to look as tho the fire is about to go out. Since there was not an actual hole where the stud was I just used the drill to create one and got lucky and didn’t even break the bit! If you’re trying to hang this alone. Get a large brown bag and trace out the entire fireplace then tape it where you think it would look good. You can step back and look and easily change your mind and just re-tape it to a higher or lower spot until you have found exactly where you want it! They give you more crystals then need unless you got the biggest model so g take your time placing are bot right hand corner of your unit.

This was easy to install with a surface mount. It has nice color combinations and the flame effect looks nice. The heat comes out olat the top. The noise does not bother me. I also like that it plugs into an outlet. My remote would not work, but I texted the customer support and received fast assistance and a replacement was shipped. The new remote works great.

It looks so warm and cozy on our house, pretty and easy installation, 0% noises which is amazing to sleep on the winter, quality and price are pretty nice! Recommended 100%

The product is good. The seller was excellent with customer support. In the end it looks good and is quiet while the flames are on display. We haven’t used the heater option yet. It works, we just haven’t used it to know how quiet it is.

I was at a cabin for Xmas and they had one of these types of wall fireplaces. Not the same model, but this one has more options. Price was right! I got the 72 in because I always go over the top. They have smaller . I wall mounted it in minutes once I found the studs. Directions are great and easy. Assembles easy! Very happy! Time will tell on longevity. They are not terribly expensive. I’m not use to getting more than two years out of room heaters. Heat works well! It will roast you out. We keep it set on 750W than 1500W setting. Easy cost effective way to add some contemporary to your home.

Love the fireplace! I wish it was a little thinner but would definitely purchase again! Keeps the room warm when I don't want to turn on the big heater and the different colors makes it fun every day.
