Freerider Luggie Eco

I purchased this from the company direct but wanted to put up a review as I couldn't find any when I was researching this item. It was purchased for an elderly lady.Scooter qualityit seems to be of good quality so far. However I am comparing it to a quingo scooter which is very sturdy and this luggie scooter is not as sturdy as the quingo. It does the job fine when you sit and use it but it feels slightly shakey and wobbly but I guess it has to be due to the flexibility of the scooter because it folds up so small. It feels safe don't get me wrong but its not as sturdy as other scooters we have used. The sales man came to the house so we could test it first and you have the option of no arm rests and if you do want them its extra but we opted for the version with the arm rests so there is more support and if feels safer as there is no seat belt on the luggie.Folding the scooterIts quite amazing how small this folds up to but if you are elderly you will need help as it requires a bit of strength to close it all up and then open it again.PortabilityYou can lift it in different ways and wheel it around so hopefully you will get a sales man come to your house and demo it to you.Overall I am pleased with this item, its made life easier when taking someone with disabilities out as it fits into the boot nicely and when not in use folds away so its easily stored. The only thing I would change if I could is make it a bit more sturdy but it does the job fine and maybe I am comparing it to the quingo too much.I highly recommend you have a demo at your house and ride it and see how you like it as its very expensive. So far so good though, Hope this review helps.

I bought this for my mother in law who is 90. She loves it and it has given her the ability to be mobile and she's looking forward to coming on holiday with us again next year. One thing though, it is lightweight in terms of mobility scooters but it is still quite heavy for one female to lift in and out of the car. Overall an excellent product and cheaper from Amazon than buying direct from Luggie
