My dogs have access to the indoors 24/7, but I wanted a doghouse for the yard for when they want to stay outside. This way, they have shade and can be outside during storms if they choose. This doghouse requires some assembly, but it's easy to put together. I also like that the screws are covered to prevent damage from the elements, and to keep the screws away from the dogs. The opening is big enough for my 60 pound dog to get through, but it's tight quarters inside for her. She still likes to curl up inside on occasion. I like that it's also vented to help with the heat. Being plastic, this doghouse would do best to be placed in the shade, so it doesn't get too hot for the dog. I like that this is also easy to clean, and it's sturdy. This also comes with plastic stakes to keep the doghouse secure in the wind. I would recommend upgrading to metal stakes if you live in a windy area, though. Overall, this house is easy to assemble, sturdy, and provides the protection my dogs need while they're outside.

This house is well made and sturdy. It was easy to assemble. I did it by myself in about 10 minutes.

I ordered this doghouse hoping to keep my German Shepherd out of the weather. I saw a photo of one standing on the doorway of the house, seemed to have lots of space. When my order arrives, it was way too small for a large dog. He's taller than the door and wouldn't even be able to get inside...
