Hi! Thanks for your question! While an oil's ability to absorb can vary with skin type, from my experience once rubbed in this particular oil is pretty quick to soak into skin!!I I would even go so far as to say that the Herbivore oil almost mimics a dry oil once rubbed in and thus wouldn't transfer to skin/furniture.
