It doesn't work. It leaks.
The idea is awesome ... my husband's sweaty cup is the bane of my existence. I was so excited to get this. I wasn't even going to plant anything. I just wanted to stop having puddles all over the table.But it leaked. We thought maybe dirt was essential to soak up the water, so we planted the tiniest succulents we could find, because the planter is TINY. Like this thing will be outgrown in a week.But it still leaks. I think there was a bigger puddle tonight than we get with nothing. It's a package of 2 ... they both leak.I gave it a 2 because the concept was great, but it doesn't deliver, sadly.

Work Great for Air Plants
These keep my tables safe and give me an excuse to have more plants in my house. To avoid dirt spills, I put air plants in the containers and they are doing quite well. I found it near impossible to find any succulents at my local nurseries that were small enough to fit in the side planting area. Overall, it's a fun idea and I am enjoying having these as part of my home decor.

Leaks water
Good idea and appealing design, but the construction is poor. It leaked water everywhere instead of collecting it into the small reservoir. I'm gonna try to return it.

Durable & cute, but has small pot. Airplants spruced up with moss or pebbles would work great!
The quality is good, seems durable. I bought some clearance plants to try. I believe air plants would work great in here though. The cup for the plants would fit air plants better than most other plants that have any sort of root system. These clearance succulents don't fit so good and they will likely die from lack of sun.I recommend these coasters, just for the novelty of them. Would make a great gift for a plant lover in your life.
