I've never touched or used an african net sponge before, but from what I can tell this one is genuine. Each one is very long, about a metre or longer, which is great for using across your back to really scrub properly. I found myself folding it over several times to make it smaller for when I was just using it on my arms and legs. I eventually decided to cut one of them into a smaller panel so I could use that for easy areas, and keep one of them long to be used across my back. It works well; it makes my bar of soap lather well and it scrubs my skin well without causing pain or discomfort. I can't believe how much cleaner I feel after using it. It's basically like one of those round loofah ball things but a long flat version so it's easier to use across your back, and on top of that it also holds less bacteria because of the weave or construction of it. I'm very glad I bought it finally after seeing them recommended so heavily on tiktok. My only small criticism is that I want to be able to choose the colours because I'm a colour-obsessed girl lol but honestly the colours are cute enough. (but if I could buy all 3 of them in pink I would've been even happier lol).
