Pyramid Trek Midge and Tick DEET Free Midge and Tick Repellent | 60ml

It works quite well to keep ticks away and the smell is not bad. I did an off-trail hike this last week and surprisingly got no ticks afterwards. It helps with midges as well, however I still got a few bites.

Arrived safely and on time . Not had much chance to use but went out a few days ago in the woodland and was ok. And I live in the the Highlands of Scotland. So pretty good for me.

Very effective keeping ticks at bay. I spend a lot of time in woods and have had no problems with ticks so far this year. I spray round lower legs, belt line, arms and neck. Works well and I have found it has a long lasting effect. The longest time I have spent in woods so far this year is six hours and was not bothered by any beasties. This works.

This product does seem to provide moderate protection in circumstances where midge numbers are fairly light, as I was bitten less than others in my party. However, where there is a high level of midge infestation I did still get bitten. I think you would be vey unlikely to get 8 hours protection - 4 is more realistic, or perhaps 6 if midges aren't too prolific. One thing I DIDN'T LIKE about this product is it's very oily nature, and the fact that it removed the painted labelling off it's own bottle - on one occasion I applied it to my face only to find that I had the remnants of bits of black lettering all over my skin! Didn't look too good.

Used this for the first time when we went to Inverness & surrounding areas where midges can be a pest , it worked well as long as you keep topping up , good value for the money

Smells good, they did not bite, but still landed on me 😅 Maybe I was quick to brush them off, or they would not bite anyway ....
