Tasty and high quality ingredients
I've been wanting to try collagen but can't have the bovine type so was interested in this high quality vegan collagen. The product is a purple colour powder contained in a 250g amber glass bottle and has a pleasant berry taste. The instructions state to make a paste using 10g and top it up with hot or cold liquid: water or milk or add to a smoothie. It also contains vitamin C and D as well as iodine. The ingredients are high quality and the brand is ethical.I hope it will help with my hair loss in the longer term. In the meantime I'm enjoying adding the supplement to my breakfast routine. Recommended.

Awesome ingredients
My main interest in this product was the collagen, as I am currently on a drive to boost my collagen readings on the tests I do on a regular basis. But it isn't just collagen that you get; you also get a blend of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that will nourish the whole body.I am currently mixing a scoop of it into one of the protein meal replacement drinks I use, and the berry flavour actually enhances the otherwise pretty bland vanilla flavour of the protein drink, which is good. But I have also taken it directly in both water and coconut water and found it to be very palatable. It tastes a little sweet, but that's not down to the added sugar, but the berries and beetroot. The manufacturer does seem to have high standards and ethics, which is great when it comes to manufacturing standards and ethical production. I'm just not a fan of virtue signalling regarding the environment, though (are glass bottles and extra paper packaging in line if your goals are climate consciousness?).That said, I do love the packaging and the whole design. The product looks great. It oozes quality and is almost so nice that it could be given as a gift. I also like that it is in glass rather than plastic, as I worry about leakage even with BPA-free materials. It is too early to say whether this will increase my collagen readings, but I will keep taking it until the bottle runs out and test again. I do have high hopes, as it does seem to be a real quality product.UPDATE: Been taking it for nearly two months now and am about to order another jar as I liked it that much. I ended up putting it into a glass of heated full-fat milk before bed. It's become an enjoyable bedtime routine and tastes fabulous.

the value for money left me unimpressed
The Ancient + Brave Radiant Collagyn powder left me with mixed feelings. While the packaging exudes quality, the steep price of £35 per jar sets high expectations. Opting for a vegan collagen alternative seemed intriguing, and the vibrant berry blend of raspberry, haskap, and beetroot hinted at a delightful taste. On tasting, the flavor was actually real good - that raspberry goodness. While it might be a viable option for vegans seeking collagen alternatives, the value for money left me unimpressed. Personally, I'd lean towards more affordable animal-based collagen options that mix better and offer better value. Despite the product's attempt to provide a vegan collagen solution, I won't consider repurchasing.

Tasty and sustainable
Having tried this vegan collagen powder, I appreciate its natural berry taste. It mixes well in smoothies, adding a nice flavour without overpowering other ingredients. I haven't noticed any dramatic changes in my hair or skin yet, but it's a pleasant addition to my morning routine. The commitment to sustainability is commendable, though the price point might be a bit steep for some.

Supports skin and gut health
Finding a vegan option for collagen supplements that actually tastes good was a challenge until I came across this berry blend. The raspberry and beetroot give it a natural sweetness, making it a refreshing part of my morning routine. It's not just about the taste; I've noticed my skin feels more nourished and has a certain glow to it. I appreciate that it's also keto-friendly and supports my gut health with its prebiotic fiber. It's reassuring to know that the ingredients are sustainably sourced and that my purchase contributes to environmental charities.

Fairly Average
The product arrived in a very nice looking box and a glass jar which makes it look a quality item, but then at £35 per jar it should do. I thought I'd give this a try instead of the usual fish / animal based collagens, but at the asking price you are paying a premium for it being vegan. I followed the instructions and put 10g of the pink powder into a glass and made a paste, presumably it means with a little water but it does not specify. So far so good. I then added 150ml of milk as instructed and stirred. It did not mix very well at all. The paste sticks to the side and bottom of the glass, and also to the mixing spoon and it was a chore to scrape it off the sides, but it was never going to dissolve otherwise. The product stuck to the spoon can then be taken neat by sucking the product off the spoon or wasted. It's never going to dissolve. Once done, I was left with a pink looking raspberry smelling drink. On drinking the concoction I'd say the taste was bearable, not the lovely raspberry taste I was expecting and disappointingly it leaves a strange unpleasant aftertaste in your mouth. Overall I'm not impressed with this product, I don't think it is worth the price, it's hassle to mix and does not taste great. If you are vegan then there are probably not a lot of collagen options but for me I'd rather go back to the rank tasting animal products that are much better value for money and mix much better.
