V12 Men's Rawhide Chelsea Boots, Brown

Best work boots you can buy. I have been using V12s for years. I work in the motor trade with oil , water etc and I can honestly say they have never leaked or split. I highly recommend these boots and won't consider buying anything else. They look good as wel and are comfortable and wear in quickly.

Quality tough boot and very comfortable once they’re broken in. Great for grip as well, I transport forestry machines for a living so always in the mud and slop or on a trailer covered in oil and grease and they’ve lasted well for 3 years only just replaced them.

I absolutely adore these boots. My first experience of V12 boots was about 4 years ago when I bought a pair of their riggers. They were bloody marvelous and completely worth a bit of extra dough. I still have them and wear them alot in the winter, well I used to until I got these little puppies. I have owned a pair of these for about 18 months now, wear them almost every day, winter and summer; they are the best thing since sliced bread, REALLY! One word of warning - they come up a little big compared with others. I am size 8 - 8.5, but I usually buy size 9 cos I have wide feet. V12 size 8 is made to measure on me. Skinny people with narrow feet might not get on with these puppies. My riggers are size nine and they need two pairs of socks for sure and they are heavy, but totally waterproof and feet warm in all conditions. Would take them to the Alps at Christmas with no hesitation. Cannot praise this brand enough and will never buy anything else, ever again.

These boots look decent enough and seem well enough made. Though I've only had them a few weeks, so we'll see how they fare after they've been through a few rain storms and trudged through a few muddy fields. They are however, as other reviewers have pointed out, h-u-u-u-ge. I usually take a size 9 but, based on other reviews, thought I'd order these in an 8 as [at that time] the 8s were £50 odd and the 9s were £70 odd [that may have been a pricing glitch though, as they all seem the same price now]. Anyway, even ordering a size down, these are almost too big for me. I stuck a pair of my favourite thick spongy insoles in them and, even though the insoles were for size 8 - 10 boots, I didn't have to trim them down at all. These boots are certainly on the roomy side but not so big that they're falling off me. So I'll hold on to them. But, if in doubt, I'd say order a size down.

The V12 Rawhide Chelsea Boots look great and feel even better. The leather is soft yet durable, and the classic Chelsea design makes them versatile for both casual and smart outfits. They’re comfortable straight out of the box with good support for all-day wear. Great quality at a solid price — highly recommended!

Very comfortable, way to get on and off when getting in and out of the truck. Excellent boots and great fit.

Returned, a very wide fit

Third pair of the in the last 10 years, I don't even look at any others these days just go straight to these. I literally wear these all the time as they are so easily to put on and take off without the ankle support collapsing like so may others and are used as work and walking shoes, anywhere I can getaway with wearing them basically. Maybe draw the line at going out but I'm sure if you gave them a polish they would still look good enough :) last pair the soles wore out before the uppers so had to replace, speaks for itself. (see pic)

Premessa....non lasciatevi spaventare dalle recensioni precedenti per le taglie...quella indicata nel link per l'acquisto in taglia Europa è corretta ..sulla scatola è riportata la taglia inglese vale a dire 7 che corrisponde a 41 ... perfetto... Passiamo allo stivaletto ...ho preso questo modello perché tra i pochi ad avere il cuoio sopra l'elastico laterale.... aumenta la tenuta dellaqua almeno da pioggia e spruzzi . .... forse per motivi di calzata viene mantenuto a scapito della totale impearmibilita' ... però ... andiamo oltre....lo stivaletto è di pelle spessa e impermeabile ben rifinito l'interno...si calzano facilmente...la suola è cucita con sistema Goodyear...quindi consumata la suola la portate da un calzolaio e la cambiate ...forse tra 10 anni ..Altro punto da chiarire è una calzatura da lavoro ha puntale in acciaio ma assolutamente impercettibile se andate in moto o vi capitasse di fare a botte sarà di vostro aiuto.Punto unico dolente della calzatura è il peso...che è tutto nella suola...che pur essendo flessibile ma anti perforazione acido e quant'altro ha però questo punto da chiarire....forse non è per lunghissime passeggiate però di sicuro visto la tassellatura regge tranquillamente il trekking...bene ho scritto tanto se vi è stato utile.... segnalatelo.... grazie! E.....comprateli...se vi piace questo stile di scarpa che tra l'altro era da molto che non compravo....90 EUR non sono pochi però....la sostanza c'è eccome...non vi pentirete.....

Zum Klarstellen vorweg: Diese Chelsea-Boots sind sowohl handwerklich als auch materiell absolut herausragend (also qualitativ deutlich über dem Durchschnitt) gearbeitet !! Sie sehen in jeder Hinsicht nach "wunderbarer alter Handwerksarbeit" aus (sind rahmengenäht usw.). Dass sie tatsächlich größer ausfallen, hatte ich den anderen Bewertungen schon entnehmen können. Daher habe ich (Größe EU 41,5, muss also i.d.R. EU 42 nehmen, weil es halbe Größen ja kaum gibt) in diesem Fall gleich Größe EU 41 genommen - und sie passen wirklich perfekt. Unvermeidlich verbunden mit dem soliden Aufbau ist allerdings ihr etwas höheres Gewicht, dass sie für einen festlichen Gala-Einsatz (für mich völlig irrelevant) eher ungeeignet macht. Sie überfordern mich (KG 69 kg, 1,72 m) damit jedoch nicht und sind ihren Preis sicher wert (der immerhin nur gerade mal etwas über der Hälfte dessen liegt, was man für die guten Boots eines bekannten australisch-tatmanischen Herstellers aktuell berappen kann). Schade, dass man hier nur 5 Sterne vergeben kann.
