The heel is low. The heel is normal height of a cowboy boot. 1-1 1/2 inches. Very comfortable can wear for mire than 8 hours.

Q: Roper is usually 100% leather. The advertisement should not say both leather and 100% synthetic. Why is this not transparent?

100% synthetic, no leather to speak of, just received mine and will be returning because they are not leather. Labels in shoe say man-made fabric.
