Very good performance, it seems very well made and a good value. I recommend this especially for the price.

My previous mats were the foldable ones that offer 3 different surfaces, but I found I only used the "tight fairway" third of the total hitting area. So I prefer this mat because the whole hitting area resembles a closely mown fairway.I've probably hit 1,500 wedge & short iron shots on this mat so far ranging from 50 to 150 yards. As you can see from the photo one of the edges has been chopped off from too many steep swings. But I think I have a long way to go with this mat because the whole hitting area is still in good shape.

Durable, doesn't make green dust like my other mat - which is nice - don't have to constantly wipe off green dust from my club heads and be paranoid about cancer - It's not very fluffy. I used it on my hardwood floor which makes it super bouncy if I hit it even just a little fat. Also moves around a little on hardwood. I haven't used the tee system on it because I don't have enough space indoors to swing my driver.

Bought this so my grandson and I can tee it up in the backyard (using squishy rubber golf balls.) It works well, provides a nice elevated area to hit from. Grandson really liked it.

I’m a beginner golfer and enjoy hitting whiffle balls in my back yard. I use this on my brick patio to hit the balls into the yard. I also use the Callaway golf shagger and feeder to dispense the balls directly onto the mat - perfect and easy practice set up!

I brought this golf mat because of its high rating and supposed durability. The artificial turf appears to have withstood the rigors of an initial 20-minute practice session with a 7-iron but, after inspecting the rubber backing, it split at a seam along the thicker border edge. I believe this was due to my placement of the golf ball 2 to three inches from the rubber border which allowed the golf club’s leading edge to slide into the rubber border. As a whole, this product is much sturdier than a golf mat I received 6 months earlier but I was hoping for a product that would withstand 6 months of practice.

Based on my past experiences with other mats I examined the available images to pick a mat that appeared to be constructed in a way to be durable. When the mat arrived I was happy to see that the pictures appropriately represented the mat I received and that it was constructed in a way to avoid flaws I've experienced with other mats. I was particularly concerned that the coping around the grass area was designed in a way to protect the grass from mis-hits and hold secure. I've been using the mat for a little over a week and early indications are that the durability will hold up. The hole for the rubber tee holder (or rubber tee) provides a secure grip, which makes it easy to pick up and move around without any concerns about it falling out. I primarily use my driver and a tee with the mat but I have hit some shots of the grass with my 3 wood, hybrids and irons. I've found it to be a good surface to hit off of and it provided an appropriate amount of give while remaining firm. I considered buying the larger mat but I'm happy I opted for the 13 x 17 inch size as it provides an appropriately sized hitting area and it is easy to move around should you want that option. I would rate the value of this as exceptional based on the reasonable price and the sound construction of the mat.

Being larger its less likely that a fat shot will peel the grass, plus it has a heaver backing and better glue (per the manufacturer, essentially saying "the regular one is flimsy"). The tees dont work very well. Why not provide normal, round rubber tees?These fly out every time you hit the ball.

I bought an Amazon Basics driving net (which is great) about a year ago, and my lawn has been taking a bit of a battering since then, so time to invest in a hitting mat. I use plastic composite balls, and will mostly hit shots using tees, driver particularly. I have been using this mat for a couple of weeks, and probably hit around 100 shots to date .I found the Champkey mat of good construction, nice solid rubber base, thick turf, heavy enough and does not move when you play your shots.The tees that are included are no better or worse than my regular tees…i.e. they break every now and again!So I will likely get through the included 9 tees in reasonably short order, but not really an issue as you can just pop your regular tee into the hole. I use pink castle tees for my driver and you can see from my photos no issues at all. You can put a non castle tee through the tee hole and into the grass if you wish.The height of the mat is around 2.5cm, including the synthetic turf, so can sit a little above your feet, but for me not disconcertingly so, and in any case my lawn and my golf club’s tee boxes are not perfectly level either, so I find no material difference or issue.So early thoughts are that this a great buy, time will be the ultimate judge, and if I find any issues I will update my review…for now all good 😀

Good quality. Very sturdy. I hit irons off of it. Full swing, full power. Been using it for months. It takes a beating and is like new. Will last long if you aren't slamming it, I guess.
