Digiteck Wireless Pressure Mat Doorbell and Alarm Systems, for Home, Flat Security White & Black

This was just an idea I had and it worked WONDERFULLY! We have a 12 year old pup going blind and slightly senile. Been more potty accidents lately. After looking at possible solutions I thought of something that we used for my Mom who had dementia- a pressure cushion so it would alarm staff if she tried to get out of her chair or bed. Well this is working BEAUTIFULLY for alerting my family when the pup heads to the door as he never makes a sound to let us know and will end up going somewhere inappropriate. He loves the PRAISE he gets every time he walks across it. I used bright pink tape so “we” would remember the area to avoid but it may be helping him notice this special area on the rug - could be we are just lucky but we’ve had it less than a week and it has been VERY HELPFUL!

UPDATE: We've used this for nearly a year, and it still works great! We use the chime setting and on occasion when it didn't work - all it needed was fresh batteries. Still highly recommend! During warm weather my dog uses the doggie door we have built into the sliding screen door, but cold and winter days were tough, since we couldn't keep the door open. This mat is PERFECT! We let her out and when she's ready to come in the chimes go off. So far no complaints from us or Waffles!

The mat worked great initially but the plastic shell that protects the sensors started to wear and rip quickly. The mat stopped working consistently, I changed both sets of batteries, the mat is now not working. It was great while it worked, but doesn't seem to have longevity.

Have to about stomp on it right next to the armor for it to pick up and chime. No way it is reliable enough to use for a notification for pets or children.

This is perfect!! I needed a way to know when my cat wanted into the house. I put it in a large plastic bag just for extra protection, and put it under the door mat. It is perfect!!! The only thing I would change is for it to be bigger, but it does exactly what I needed it to do.

Didn't work very well

Use this at the kitchen door to tell me when the dog is ready to come in. It’s been great not having to stand at the door waiting & waiting for her to be ready to come in. I covered it with a coir door mat and my 10# Yorkie triggers it. Sturdy. Button battery in the mat is protected. Receiver in the house runs on C-cell batteries. Both are long-lasting. Alarm is pleasant and volume adjustable. Did fine through an Ohio winter. Will definitely buy another if this one wears out.

I know when my puppy has to go! This is great!

Un simple tapete plástico que puedes cubrir con alguna jerga y colocarla afuera de la casa y usarla como alarma cuando la pisen. La antena es muy buena, muy ruidosa y almenos su señal me llega a 7 metros atravesando 2 paredes.

2 niveaux de son: Le son est soit trop fort (vraiment inconfortable) soit trop faible (inaudible), et il ne se déclenche pas systématiquement bien que l émetteur et le capteur sont éloignés de l épaisseur de la porte. J ai demandé un retour mais c est le client qui avance les frais, amazon rembourse 4 € une fois le colis reçu dans leur centre en Ecosse or Je viens de regarder les prix de réexpédition via differents transporteur et je ne trouve pas à mois de 19€ ! Je suis très déçue par la méthode de retour. Je déconseille fortement cet achat à la fois pour le produit et la méthode de retour.

Funziona molto bene. Preso per avvisare quando un mio famigliare non completamente autosufficente tenta di scendere dal letto. Necessita di un supporto antiscivolo per evitare che la parte sensibile scivoli sul pavimento. Deve essere coperto da un tappeto per non rovinarlo. La parte trasmittente e' su una tasca interna del tappeto sensibile chiusa con del velcro. Nel trasmettitore va inserita una batteria CR2032 che nel mio caso era compresa nella confezione. Il ricevitore necessita di 3 batterie mezza torcia di tipo C non incluse nella confezione. Nel complesso soddisfatto dell'acquisto.

Whoever comes behind my door, I'll know it! It's perfect! I use it to let my cat in whenever she decides to come home. A bit loud, but I put tape over the speaker holes and now it's ok. Will buy again and again! (it stops working after a year outside with rainy weather.)
