Beautiful, gentle, touching and educational.
I love this book. I'm in my mid 30s and got it for myself, but have since given copies to children too. The gentle rhyming text is satisfying to read and weaves a loose story around the appreciation of trees. I love that there are some facts at the back and Emma Carlisle's illustrations are so warm and charming throughout. The sweet, inquisitive nature of the text seems to cover all the things that usually run through my mind when looking at a tree. Just lovely.

Beautiful and Wise
A delightful book about trees for young people with stunning illustrations, thoughtful narration and a lovely eco message. This would make a wonderful gift book as it is also beautifully produced.

Helps children to expand their point of view
This book is really good to help children, specially in Their primary age, to expand their point of view, considering trees as living being, but not in a moralistic way. Just with wonder and curiosity, as they do everything. It s a book beautifully written in poetry style, and when I read it to my group from 4 to 10 years old, they interacted with all the sentences . The artwork is stunning in its style and made with traditional materials, an added value in this digital age. The size of the book open is approx. A3 , so it s a good size to enjoy the pictures. Highly recommend.
