Will this thin kerf blade work with a 3.0mm thick riving knife having a chamfered leading edge?

If the blade is thinner than the riving knife the wood will be unable to go any further than the riving knife. This is very dangerous and heightens the risk of kickback. I made a thinner riving knife the thickness of the blade for a piece of hardwood fitted into an shop made zero clearance insert.
