No. Not without adding a lens in front of the device. This camera has a an angle of view similar to a 50mm lens on an 35mm film format. I chose it because I wanted a normal, rather than wide angle view. You'd be better off buying a different camera

does this work with Zoom meetings?

Yes it does. My daughter had a Zoom meeting for her scout group and it worked just fine. Worked just like Skype.

I just bought it and plugged the usb in to my laptop but that light hasn't gone green and nothing has happened. do i need to download some software?

If it's a Windows Laptop you can check in Device Manager to see if it has installed correctly. Go to Control Panel -> Device Manager, and expand Imaging Devices in the tree. The light only comes on when the camera is active, so try opening an application that uses the camera. e.g. Zoom, Google meetings etc
