I do like this product because it helps my stone heat up significantly faster fits well. The handle is a little cheap and sometimes if you leave it on too long, we’ll actually get hot and you need to be careful taking it off and wherever you put it. Works great for function for the price. I think it is a little expensive but if you cook pizza a lot it’s well worth it.

Brought oven to temperature in less than half the time without the door. Brought oven back up to temperature by the time the next pizza was ready. Also, helped prevent wind blowing out the flame. Nice fit. Handle knob does get hot so glove or hot pad is needed.

Overall is a good product and perfectly fit the OONI Oven. However, you need to use it carefully. If you keep too long the oven stone may overhead and will burn the pizza. At the same time also the know will be overheating and will be difficult to handle it.

The door causes the flame to burn out. Without the door, I can ignite the game and use normally. With the door, the flame stops burning about 2-3 mins after starting the preheat. This makes the product useless. Ooni recommends against playing with the air shutters to modify the air to gas ratio.

Only thing that would make it better is if it had hinges

Because of the way it was weighted. It needed to be propped up in order to stay in the opening
