Non-lethal defensive weapon.
Had bought an earlier model and like this model very much as it appears to be BRIGHTER. It can be a low level defensive weapon as the brightness of the light can be REPULSIVE. I'm waiting for a flashlight that can ignite clothing at 15 feet. Please hurry and produce.

Very Good Value
The performance matches the manufacturer's claims. I'm a law enforcement and have had great performance from this search light. Good battery life and super bright. The size and design is good. I have dropped this light a few times climbing over wall and fences; I pick it up and it still works fine. All my colleagues have commented on the brightness and ability to alter the modes to meet your circumstances. Great value for money, the charging time is reasonable for a large battery. I always keep a spare battery but the battery usually lasts a couple tours of duty with heavy usage. Swapping batteries in the dark then being able to feel the distinctive feel of the on button is awesome. The weight and size of the light feels comfortable and good for self-defence. When in a dark or poorly lit room, shine the light on the ceiling (reflective surfaces light a white ceiling) and the whole room will light up.

I figured it would be more durable
I was happy the first week. It's super bright and works great for walking at night. Unfortunately, it stopped charging after the 2nd week. In its defense, I did drop it while riding my bicycle slowly. In my defense, it hit the ground because the lanyard broke off my wrist. It looked more durable than I thought it would be from the photos. Sadly, I just missed the window for exchanging it for another. Great news: the company sent me another one after seeing my review. Thank you to the company. However, the new one is just as bad. It has not charged at all since day one. I would stay away from this flash lite. The lanyard broke again, and it does not light up any longer. But the company will stand behind it, but who wants to go through this?

Very Bright!
This is the brightest flashlight I've ever owned. I love it. After a friend saw it, he had to buy one too. It is well worth the money if you need a good flashlight. The charge seems to last a long time and it doesn't take long to charge it.
