Samsung WW5500 AddWash A+++ WW80K5413UW/EU 8kg 1400 Spin Washer in White

i have had it 3 months now so feel well qualified to review. it is easily the best washing machine I've ever bought but could be better. Pros: 1.extremely quiet for the price. those complaining of it being noisy may not have set the feet properly. 2. addwash function is surprisingly useful. how did i ever do without it? 3. great washing perfomance. especially with bubblewash it really works! 4. saves me lots of times as it doesn't crease as much as my old washing machine despite the same spin speed. i cannot over emphasize how much time this saves. i now fly through the ironing due to this machine. 5. lots of smart features like it tells you when to run it empty at 95 degrees to keep it's inner workings clean. Cons: 1. annoying jingles - but you can turn them off! 2. it doesn't weigh your wash- which seems odd as the manual states a maximum recommended weight for all the different programmes. 3. no mini-load function. there are programmes with very low recommended weights (eg quick wash recommnds less than 2kg) but that requires constant reference to the manual. unless i have misread manual i cannot see any way of stating that you have only half filled the drum. so how efficient is the machine when not full? 4. highly rated energy performance basically uses less electricity than any other currently available machine in ecowash mode, however, it uses tons more water. the energy performance rating system curiously does not include water usage just electricity consumption. the eco wash also takes 3.5 hours.... so lot's could be better but way better than a lot of other machines at this price point (i paid £450)

In the chaos of lockdown my washer broke for our family of 4. Shopped around at curry’s, John Lewis and Amazon and they were best product for money and guarantee value. They even delivered early by 2days and were so professional! From start to finish great purchase annnnnnd it’s so quiet! E en my husband said it’s fun to use when we find the stray sock 🤣

It’s brilliant, and looks good. The rubber band was ripped on the seal, no idea how and it was so simple and quick to fix it on the warranty. Highly recommend! But super heavy! So bare in mind if you need to move it anywhere!
