A wonderful story of hope!
A wonderful piece of writing, beautifully illustrated. More than that it offers children and adults a message of hope. Itโs message is that despite the negativity of Covid Michael Morpurgo managed to write a story which seeks to unite the world starting with the song of the blackbird in his garden to which Morpurgo responded!

A lovely book for young and old alike
I bought this book, as it was inspired by the Lockdown, and we also have a lovely blackbird who sings for us in our garden. I will give it to my Grandaughter on her 3rd Birthday which is in July. It will be lovely to read it to her.
