This Scriveiner Rollerball is the definition of elegant. It is incredibly attractive and feels well-built, with a weight that balances perfectly in the hand once the cap is posted. Writes smooth and flowing, not scratchy. The smooth writing experience from the Schmidt refill is top-tier. Honestly, it doesn't make my chicken scratch writing any better, but I certainly look good with this in my hand while I’m doing it! It's a high-quality, sophisticated tool that makes even a simple to-do list feel like a luxury.

You may want an EDC pocket pen, but you don't need to look like you're in the Army Rangers. In fact, you'd like the best of both worlds: an EDC pen that looks nice. This one has it, and with several options. I opted for the blue finish. It also solves two of my pet peeves about pens: 1. Most pens stick up out of my shirt pocket because they're too long. This one is very short by comparison and will fit fine. 2. When I'm writing with a lot of pens, the top will fall off while I'm writing, which I hate. This screws in place, so the top/cap will stay on. Beyond all that, it feels good in the hand, writes well, and you get an extra refill. I don't like boring clips; this one is Art Deco and looks great. I like how the logo is on the band and the top of the pen. Unlike most pens, even good ones, you can register it. The manual is emailed to you and is very clear. There are a LOT of refill options, and I can't say I entirely understand the differences. I'd like to try one of their fountain pens, but for everyday use, the rollerball is great. You can get a Schmidt Refill Fibre Fasermine if you like felt-tip pens, which I do. I'd like to know if you can get a ballpoint refill for this pen. Overall, this is an exceptional pen.

Ink is very good and dark, easy to use and open with a twist, fast writing durability is very great and top-notch. And it does not hurt so it’s very comfortable to use. I think it’s worth the money.

This is hands down one of the best investments Ive ever made in myself! Ive always liked journalling but somewhat struggled with consistency. Around the holidays I was looking to treat myself and came across these pens. They were beautiful but $80?! In this economy?? I was probably a little drunk when I pushed buy now but by the time it came I immediately loved how heavy the pen was in my hand, and how smooth it wrote. Seriously I felt so luxurious, and found myself looking forward to writing more and that eventually helped me be more consistent with writing period. Now Ive had it for years and use it every day and it writes just as it did the first day- super durable and reliably good. If I hit the lotto I would buy this pen for each and every one of my friends and family members just so they too can enjoy the experience of writing with a really really great pen.

Finally, the rollerball pen I have been searching for. Elegant. Sturdy. Feels great in the hand. Instantly ordered a second for permanent duty at my desk. This one is my carry pen. Cost is reasonable. I love the screw-on features.

Honestly and 100% truthfully, one of the best pens I have used in a very long time (for a Rollerball pen) - and I have Fountain Pens that cost me a little over $800. That being said I unfortunately had to return it, ONLY and I say only, because the it was an EDC Pen, I was looking for one that you didn't have to twist the top on and off. But the ink was great, absolutely no skips or patches of ink, very durable. The material is incredibly used fantastic as is the material. Very smooth when writing and the ink was smudge resistant.

I bought it as a gift for my nephew's graduation. Arrived very quickly, thanks to the Amazon great team. The color is unique soft green. I bought this as a gift for a friend and liked it so much I bought another for myself. When closed it is a perfect small size to fit in my pocket or bag. Writing is really smooth and easy with this rollerball and the pen looks classy.

Very nice pen to write with; smooth ink and a well made pen. If you unscrew the cap and write without attaching it to the back, the pen is pretty short. When you do screw the cap on, the pen feels top heavy what results, for me at least, in an uncomfortable feeling when writing. Because it's a screw on cap, it's not very practical if you have to use the pen in an intermittent way, like signing papers in an office. Would I still recommend this pen? Sure!
