Yummy, a bit like baby food
Great product. Nice natural flavorful peach from Italy. A big difference from others. Very broken down...nearly like baby food without fruit pieces.

Contains Citric Acid
I only bought this product after reviewing other brands for the fact this brand contained no citric acid. However that is not the case. Now I can’t even eat it because it contains citric acid.

Tart and sweet.
We're big on jams, jellies, and spreads in our house. Nothing like a morning piece of good, toasted bread with a bit of butter and a special fruit jam. This Amarena Cherry spread has us divided. My wife really likes it but she's a big fan of cherry pie. This reminds us both of the type and flavor of cherry used in her favorite pie. I'm usually not big on sour so this isn't one that would attract me. My four-year-old granddaughter ate it but has declined the next few times it was offered. Maybe it's an aquired taste. I just took a spoonful and found it refreshing. I'm going to keep trying it and see if it grows on me. If not, my wife will be more than happy to have it for herself.

Mild berry-like flavor
This is a review for Le Conserve Della Nonna Fig Fruit Spread. In comparing ingredients of what is on my bottle and on this website, I did notice a minor change from the use of lemon to citric acid. Both are used to prevent bacteria from forming in the jam as well as add sourness and tartness. I think lemon is more natural ingredient. The fig jam has a mild berry-like flavor and goes well with salads and It’s been recommended to spread it with prosciutto (cured ham) and Gouda cheese in a sandwich but I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. So I made a classic (in the US anyway) PB&J sandwich and it tasted pretty good. The jam is less flavorful than grape or strawberry jam but still quite good.
