My dog doesn't cope with rawhide, as its too hard and cuts up her gums. Are these as hard as rawhide?

Anything will be better than rawhide. rawhide is basically bleached and sugared skin rolls. It's truly disgusting and your dog will thank you for the change I'm sure Even though it lasts them a long time, it's probably the worst "treat" you can give dogs.

Would these be okay for my 8.5kg french bulldog? Shes 18 months old?

I give the large ones to my 2yr & 8 yr old German Shorthaired Pointers who weigh 23 & 28 kgs . So smaller ones for your dog perhaps.
