Gilboys 'Rose Gold' Premium Beeswax Furniture Polish (125ml)

Absolutely brilliant! Seen on Chateau DIY restoring the dream. So pleased I have purchased this as my old furniture looks so good.

Mum has a well-loved, well worn kitchen table that has been in our family for generations. It was in a very sorry state having been neglected for many years. I looked at loads of wax polishes on Amazon and although this one is very pricey, it sounded perfect. I first scrubbed it clean with eco egg clay based natural cleaner, then sanded it lightly with a sanding block. Then I applied this polish in the direction of the grain with liberon 0000 grade wire wool. After about 40 minutes I buffed it with a soft cloth and we are all thrilled with the result. There’s just enough colour in the polish to add back a bit of richness to the wood and even up the colour without ruining the patina. Can’t recommend this highly enough! Thank you!

This is amazing. I will use this for life now. The smell is light and natural, it smells of honey and a hint of natural pine. This is a factor that's very important to me as I have asthma and can get headaches by certain smells if I'm not careful.The wax is easy to use. I've used it on plywood, unfinished wood, slightly sanded rough sawn timber and chalk painted wood. Each time it gives a Finnish that is infinitely better than anything I've ever used. For Me it has coverd many lazy sandings.All I can say is Thank you for this amazing product.

Really works, we have Rose wood coffee table, a visitor had put glasses down left ring marks and top was looking dull and tired. Two uses have revitalised it, now shiny and can’t see marks or blemishes. Also used on dinning room table in light oak, again all marks gone and lovely shine. I am so pleased with it. Lovely service from makers. Saved us a lot of money if had taken them to be done. Thank you

Excellent quality waxes and generously proportioned thereof, let down only by too little turpentine which is necessary for even spread. Best gently warmed with a little extra turps for easy application. Overall happy but probably best only for serious restorers and enthusiasts.

I bought this to treat my mid century rosewood furniture. It is easy to use, smells lovely and works well to nourish hungry old furniture.I love the fact you can return to glass jar to be refilled - well done guys - a great product.

Although it seemed like a lot of money at first, I thought I'd give this polish a go and I am very glad I did. It went on beautifully and and as soon as I buffed it off I could see the difference in finish to the previous polishes I have used: My furniture definitely looks better than ever after using this product. It is a high quality polish and I will certainly buy some more when I have finished this jar.

What a lovely product beautifully packaged and even has some sweet pea seeds to plant ,a personal message and an interesting booklet on the company this is worth every Penny and they will refill the jar when it’s finished so great recycling .Highly recommend and it works too !!

I recently received my jar of Gilboys Antique Rose wax to polish my American Drew cherry wood dining table (see photo). The results were excellent! Of course, I watched the Gilboys' video a few times so they get the credit really. My table, which was dull and a bit faded from 35 years of regular use, looks just great. This is fabulous product giving terrific results.

The best wax I've found. I take care of a number of antiques that have come down through the family, and I have to make sure they last on through the years. I bought the Rose Gold wax for a special inlaid table and what a result! Went on well, polished beautifully, removed the cloudy effect of the previous wax, and brought up a wonderful shine. It even smells good. Now I feel I am protecting this piece for generations to come. The company shipped very quickly and I look forward to ordering from them again.

I hesitated to buy this more expensive version of Bees Wax polish with so many other inexpensive alternatives. However, I feared to treat my vintage table with waxes mixed with chemical cleaners or use products that caused wax build up. So, I trusted this company's boast to purchase the best. I have not been disappointed. Anything wood I use it on, comes back to life in the most amazing way! My old vintage farm table found renewed vigor. The table went from looking thirsty to deeply-nourished. My only comment would be that the packaging was very extravagant, and while this shows pride of workmanship, I wondered how much of the additional costs was for the fancy box.
