Perfect!
For me, Good & Plenty is the PERFECT form of licorice. First, it's black, the only legit color for licorice. Then, it's not too serious, nor too frivolous. Australian is a bit intense, and sticky. Twizzlers are waxy kids' stuff. G&P provides a little sweetness with the coating and the centers area perfectly flavorful, but mild, licorice. So, it's G&P or nothing for me. But, I have been reluctant to order a quantity of G&Ps because they might not be fresh. Then my stash ran out a couple of months ago and I haven't traveled to Menard's country lately, so I decided to order these 12 boxes. The price matched Menard's, (even before rewards!) and the freshness exceeded expectations! Perfect texture, not hard, and definitely fresh. Now, I just have to be sure to go through them fast enough so that the last boxes are still fresh. I think I'm up for that challenge!

Fresh and hard to find anymore
I love black licorice and this brand is really good with the sugary coating. Licorice is a natural laxative if eating enough. I eat these instead of taking a harsh laxative. Very fresh, chewy, sealed in boxes and good value for a dozen boxes. And good for the movies.

Excellent candy
I have ordered this candy several times. Every so often, rather rarely, it comes stale but I suspect it’s the cardboard boxes as opposed to the age of the candy that causes it to go stale quickly. The chewability otherwise is just fine. The taste remains as yummy as it always has been. I zap the box in the microwave for 5 seconds when it is too hard and that makes the box enjoyable! I recommend the product because, like I said, the hardness is rare!

Thin coating, soft licorice. Perfect!
The media could not be loaded. I remember when I was a little kid, my dad would eat the white ones and I would eat the pink ones! Wonderful memory for me. These are great, but I wonder why the coding on the outside of these is so thin. The licorice on the inside is soft. I've had thicker coatings and harder licorice, but either way is fine for me.
