Perfect fit, perfect feel, great price!
A great pair of boots at a great price! So comfy, no break-in pain at all! Lightweight, but super sturdy and well-made. Very happy with these boots. Super sole cushion, it's like walking on air. Just ordered another pair in black today. Based on my size 12 feet, they fit perfectly by the size advertised.

Lightweight true to size great able support winter boot.
I have wide feet and boots for perfectly. It snowed out here 2 days after boots arrived so it was perfect opportunity to break them in. They did not disappoint!!! Waterproof and durable. Light and super comfy to walk around in. As a Foodservice delivery truck driver I definitely recommend these boots!!

Good BUT....
Review on Armadillo Size 10 (black). The materials and construction seams to be good, the boot is comfortable, comes with an extra pair of strings. I would say that the size is about half a size bigger. I always use size 10 or even 10 1/2, but this one I feel I should have been a 9 1/2. The foot feal lose in the boot. There is space in front of the shoe and the overall volume inside the shoe is big. My foot does not feel snug and I do not like the look and feel of a super tight boot around the foot. In this one I need to super tighten the strings to feel the boot more close to the top of the foot which bends, in an awkward way, the shoe.

Most comfortable hiking and walking boots I've owned in years!
I am absolutely in love with these boots! I wear a size 15 wide shoe and it's very difficult for me to find well fitting footwear, but these Nortiv 8 boots fit me perfectly and are the most comfortable I've worn in decades! I decided to go with the synthetic uppers rather than the suede based on a recommendation by Amazon's AI, 'Rufus' who explained that suede doesn't hold up as well and isn't as waterproof as the synthetic. Plus they look just great! In the first three weeks after I received them I put them to the test on many all day hikes into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains where they held up perfectly in all types of terrain, including swampy muddy areas, rocky sharp aggregate, smooth slippery limestone, volcanic mudflow, and loose gravel. I've hiked in downpouring rain, fog, even some snow and my feet never got wet. They are truly waterproof. My feet tend to be cold by nature but these boots paired with thick socks kept my feet warm! I really like the lacing system on these boots. The laces don't bind, they're easy to loosen and tighten, adjusting the boot's fit depending on the thickness of the socks you're wearing or other factors. They even come with an extra pair of laces which can really come in handy. The tread on these boots is rugged and hold up really well to the abuse I put them through on my many hikes. Even after clocking over 200 miles on these boots the treads still look nearly new. I was so impressed with the fit, the style, and performance of these boots that I ordered a second pair right away. I plan to use one pair for my rugged back hills hiking and the second pair for walking, day hikes, and other more casual occasions.

Surprisingly good boot for a brand I didn’t know
I find these boots comfortable and have proven to be waterproof. They have held up and still look new. They fit like a boot not like a sneaker so they wear more like a work boot. The sole is curved toward the front so it walks like a running shoe forces a heel to toe step. They are warm and cushioned inside. I would buy again.

Great boots
I rarely write reviews, but had to for these boots. Having long narrow feet "Size 15", it is hard to find good boots/shoes let alone comfortable ones. I have had these boots for about 2 weeks and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever had. After a couple of days of break in, I don't notice my feet or any aches at all. I'm 53 and stand on concrete 8 hours a day almost every day. So far they are also keeping my feet dry and warm. We will see how durable they are. I purchased these during the Black Friday sales, so got a great price also. My only complaint would be that they are made in China... I know that's why they have the price point they have, I just hope they pay their workers in China a reasonable wage.

Mid level hiking shoes at best
I’ve had these shoes for a few weeks and use them primarily for security work. I wanted to bank on the fact they’re a hiking shoe and you’d hope that you could wear them for longer hours and continuous use. Out of the box the left shoe felt a lot more snug than the right shoe but I brushed it off and proceeded to wear them normally. I liked the feel and gave me an immediate thought of comfortable. But more than 3+ hours wearing them my feet were definitely more fatigued than I would have hoped. I’m a special case my right foot has had problems for years but didn’t have high hopes anyways. Upon really checking the shoes out I switched out the insoles for a better touch and laughed because the left shoe had DOUBLED insoles. I’ve never experienced that before so never thought I’d have to check but still a good laugh. Even after changing the insoles out just can’t get them to feel right. Like I said I don’t use them for hiking so that could be my own fault and I own up to it. The soles themselves are rugged and sturdy and can see how a hiker could benefit from them. Not what I was looking for in a shoe but not a bad one. For the discount price Amazon was giving I’d get them again to beat up but not for comfort. If you keep it moving they’re comfy, if you’re standing still they’re uncomfortable. Also if you’re not used to a mid top shoe they do have a upper break in period. They run your inner shins kinda weirdly and can cause some soreness. I have done hiking before and would rather go with Adidas, Merril, or Solomon. They’re just better constructed.

Great boots
Surprisingly light and comfortable for such a supportive boot. I was a little worried that the uppers not being (much) leather would fail to hold up, but with more than a thousand miles in the rocky Rocky Mountains they are holding up really well. The vibram imitation tread has exceptional traction and is hardly showing any wear. The soles are bonded very well to the uppers. Very satisfied and frankly surprised by the quality of an inexpensive boot.
