Works well and easy to clean

Perfect cafetière! Just the right size great price, keeps warm!

Not used item yet but it looks good. I bought the litre cafetiere and it looks enough for 2 good size cups of coffee. The issue is the coffee I bought from a company online says for a cafetiere buy fine coffee which I did. However on the booklet for this cafetiere is says only to use course coffee, if you use fine there will be pressure build up and grinds will get stuck in the filter. Therfor now I am a little confused but this.

Exactly what I wanted and well made.

This is just what I was looking for - makes four cups, which is perfect for a couple in the morning!

Firstly the design looks nice and the 500ml size is perfect for me. The biggest issue i have is with the foil filter. I tried it for a few days and kept getting grains coming through the foil filter and swimming in the cup until they settled after a few minutes. I noticed there was a 3mm crease in the foil in one area and when you plunged the filter down the granules were getting past this defect. I was about to return it to amazon but i stripped it down and turned the filter the other way up and gently fitted it back in the coffee pot. The next time i have used it (3 times now ) seems to have cured the issue. One thing to note is that in the instruction leaflet it states only use coarse ground coffee granules , ive used Lidl ground coffee in other cafetieres for years and never had a problem.

and the glass seems MUCH sturdier than the waaaay more expensive Chambord one I bought. love this french press. this is my second. the first was damaged in a move, glad I was able to find this one and replace it like for like!

美味しい濃厚なコーヒーが5〜6分の待ち時間で抽出される。 コーヒー好きでないご近所さんもこれで抽出したコーヒーならおかわりを求めて来る。 以前の失敗を思い出し、金属が味覚を落としそうなので撹拌するのも竹串で行ってる。 チョロチョロとお湯を注ぐドリップ式を面倒だと感じる様になった。 但し容器に注ぐお湯の温度にはドリップ式以上に留意している。(今の好みは85℃前後) コーヒー豆のカスを洗い流すのは面倒だが、細かい目のメッシュで簡単に排出できる。 ただし味覚維持のため容器の洗浄は毎回確実に行っている。(職業=薬品取扱=からの影響かも)

Je possédais déjà une Bodum grand format, celle ci est très pratique car son volume correspond a un mug. Parfait pour un café en solo! Avec toujours la qualité Bodum au rendez vous, et un design sympa, le tout pour 10€, que demander de plus!
