Great little product. Highly Recommended.
Sata HDD to IDE slot in a tablet or Laptop will be the main use of this powerful little product. Great design and build quality. The only improvement I could see is making it thinner and have both connectors surface mounted and either side of the board in the same position - it would make mounting the HDD a lot easier. Fantastic non-the-less and makes for legacy HDD upgrades with ease. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We got one of these to convert an old laptop to sata but we can't fit the new sata drive in the laptop because the cover won't close but no matter it fits another machine and works well

I tested it and it works. As the circuit board is 70mm by 14mm, it does not fit in all laptop hard drive slots as they can be only 10mm deep.

EXCELLENT for slaving spare HDD's!
Brilliant! Can be easily used to convert an old style 44pin had to data or the other way round. If you have an data to usb adapter, you can now have 2 HDD using only ONE adapter as most have room for only ONE data to usb and another connection for a 44 pin. This way you can have TWO data hdd via usb and only have to buy ONE cheap sata-usb adapter!Saves you at least £10 AND less cables.

Sehr guter kleiner Adapter
Dieser Adapter ist sehr kompakt gebaut und erfüllt seine Aufgabe anstandslos. Er wurde von mir für den Einsatz in einem Mac Mini gekauft und verrichtet dort hervorragen seinen Dienst.(ersetzt die im PPC Mac Mini verbaute ATA-Festplatte 40GB durch eine 180GB SATA)

pessimo acquisto comprato e buttato. dopo averlo istallato nel mio pc non riconosce hdd, almeno nel mio caso loggetto non funziona.

Funktioniert so wie es soll.
Die Baugrösse ist nur für Laptops geeignet wo die alte PATA Festplatte mit einem Schaumstoffschutz umwickelt war.Bin zufrieden damit.
