Confirmed purchase : Ankey Automatic Cooling Fan for Xbox Series X Console.This fan works exactly as described. Read the manual and set it to automatic, it'll do its job perfectly. The LED lights and fan turn on at a specific temp and shut off when the console is cooled to a specific temp, This also acts as a way for you know when the console is heated. The fan shuts itself off- even when the console has been shut down. I never have turn it on or off. The LED lights aren't too bright for me but the console is about 5 feet away.However, it did not solve the crashing problem with "Fall Out 4". What did solve it was uninstalling un-played games until the internal storage was only 33% full. Between that and the fan the crashing stopped.I hope you have the same experience.

Unit works well. I do not notice it running. I have my xbox installed below my TV. I was concerned the lighting would distract me but so far it has not. I have had it about two weeks so far. I leave it on in automatic. It comes on and goes off on it's own. I also like the two controller hangars on it.

This works well and looks good. Easy to install as well.

Setting thermodynamics aside this is almost the perfect cooling fan. There are two things that I really dislike about this fan that could be changed very easily to make it a great fan.First, I really can't express enough how much I absolutely HATE that this has RGB lighting and that there is no option to turn it off. Plenty of adults buy gaming consoles you don't have to add RGB to everything. If you insist on adding RGB then have some basic humanity and make it optional by allowing us to disable it. If your customer has migraines, seizures, or any other number of disorders it’s an honest medical concern.Setting aside the genuine health concerns it’s annoying and distracting beyond reason as soon as the sun starts going down. Especially in the case of this particular item where the spinning flashing strobe is multi-colored. It’s not even a nice soothing constant solid color you can get used to. It’s like a crack head is throwing a rave and all you are trying to do is focus on gaming and trying to figure out where the muzzle flashes are coming from… oh that’s just the fan, again.Second, the fan is supposed to have button that allows for manual control of the auto on/off feature. It has a button but it is totally useless. The fan is constantly resetting itself back to auto. No matter how many times I want to manually control the speed of the fan, set it and forget it style, the fan overrides me and goes back to auto. Ramping up and down constantly. I live in a part of the country with seasons. In the winter we routinely get into the single digits and in the summer we get into the triple digits. Being able to manually set the fan and tell it that it’s summer time and it will need to be max out all month is 100% preferred. When it’s 117 outside there’s no reason this fan should be ramping up and down trust me, the xbox is hot, give it all she’s got Mr Scott.So make the fan work as described by actually making manual work and those button more than just visual and give us the option to disable the lights and this will be the perfect product. Until then I’m unplugging this every time the sun goes down and relying on something else during the summer that I can trust not to ramp down on me for no reason.

Love that it has an auto on and off function based on a heat monitor in it. Or you can set to manually use the other options.

Xbox series x started overheating playing MSFS, as the Xbox would overheat and shut down every 15 min or so, so I picked this up. Keeps the Xbox nice and cool. Before I would put my hand over the Xbox and it was pretty darn hot, now it's constantly a little warm. I believe that it does exactly as the product describes, and keeps the temp about 104 F. It's really quiet, as it's never turned on above the lowest level so far and I can barely hear it. The nicest thing is it's automatic, you plug it in and forget it's there. I don't use the manual function. The extra USB port is nice, I plug a chat pad keyboard and charging cable into the top and free up the bottom USB port up front. The RGB colors don't bother me at all, but per the manual I think you can just turn them off. Best of all, the x box no longer overheats or shuts down, no matter how long it's running. Overall, an excellent little fan at a great price.

They have so many of these to choose from! But let me tell you, it works really good and keeps my xbox very cool! Has 3 velocities and you can keep the lights or turn them of. The price is awesome compared to others! Loving the attachment to hang my control and head set, plus the accessories to block the dust in the open areas of the xbox. It's quiet as well!

I ordered this the same day I purchased my Xbox Series X. It works great and only $30!I looked at so many brands and this had all the features I wanted and had great reviews.It’s only been two months, but I haven’t had any problems since I purchased it on January 10, 2024.THIS ANKEY FAN is way better than other similar products because:1) I don’t have to manually play with any switches to turn the cooling fan on or off while gaming.2) I really like the fact that this fan automatically runs low or high speed, depending upon how hot the Xbox gets.3) You can also switch the fan to low, medium, or high manually if you prefer.4) It isn’t loud, even on high.5) A place to leave your controller and headset charging when you’re done gaming is great!It’s a really great product, super easy install, and I like the colors of the fan.
