Fits most every sized shifter/brake system, just squirt with water. This product has saved many pairs of converse!!

I took the advice of previous reviewers and boiled the leather before installing. Even so, I struggled to fit the boot over the rubber sleeve that came on the bike (HD Breakout). I about wore myself out pulling on it with a pair of needle nose pliers. The lace up part that ties around the shaft of the shifter is tightened about as much as it can but is still a bit loose. The whole piece held on by the part that fits over the rubber, though. I'm not worried about it slipping off. There was a lot (4-5") of extra leather lacing, though that I double-knotted and wrapped around the shifter shaft. I guess I could have cut off the excess, but I didn't want to do that in case I came to regret it.

Went on pretty easy after soaking the leather. You do have to take off the rubber shifter at the top, and work it with a small flat head. But mainly pretty easy to get on. This is real, high quality leather, and I am very happy with this product.

I'm having hard time putting on bike, I have seen reviews and I'm going to try the boiling water and carry pot out to bike some time lol

Used mink oil to waterproof and darken the leather. I also took the peg off and used mink oil as a lubricant to marry the two together. It’s tight! I secured it with 2 small zip ties instead of the leather strap. Use the leather strap to wrap the zip tie and tie it on the back side. Hides it well and very secure

Do not attempt to buy this if you own a Indian Motorcycle or a larger bike in general, no matter how I tried this thing refused to go on, I saw a video on it suggesting that you boil it in hot water so the leather becomes supple and is easier to place on the lever. So I tried that and again it would not go on the lever. I think a disclaimer should read: This should read Shift lever cover not for some Motorcycle brands. Waste of money and time, don't waste yours as well. Maybe if it had been made a bit bigger and there were no rivets or they offered it in more then one size?

It doesn't fit on a HD sportster! We lubed it...boiled it...pulled at it with pliers. It should be adjustable on both angles. We had to cut the rivets out and use the strip from the 2nd one to lace it. Doesn't look like the ad picture...but it's on there. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

This is very nice quality, but the laces are a bit odd... Took out the laces and just used zip ties instead.
