It may be small but it's brilliant!
I have an 80cm long fish tank and the light unit failed and i was trying to find a replacement light, I found this one and was dubious as it's small in size but the light is amazing! Very bright and I have it set on 6 hour setting and it lights like a sunrise and so doesn't startle the fish - I tried other lights and they just weren't bright enough this one definitely is!

Good light might need 2 for bigger setups.
I have been using this light for quite a few months now with no issues, the day time timer works well with the different colours for morning daytime and evening. Its not the brightest but my tank is 2ft deep with natural dark furnishings so i am considering buying another to illuminate slightly better.

A good Automatic light
I was pleasantly surprised with this light, the light varies automatically as the day goes by. The only thing (which may be due to me) is I can only get the nigh time blue light using manual, in auto mode the bright light just switches off.

Perfect fit for 60L tank
Perfect for my 60L tank. I leave it on the 24h timer that changes colours and goes on/off at certain times. Been in for a couple weeks and no issues at all.

Good light
This is waterproof, works flawless nice setup for 24 hours. I will buy another one. I have a 90 liter tank so you will need to lights for that.

Broke within 48 hours.
Worked great no issues, then, all of a sudden started changing colours randomly and strobe flashing before black. Now it won't come back on at all. Not impressed.

Perfect light so far for my 50 gal aquarium ❤️
This is my first impression I will update if I have any issues! I was looking for a thinner aquarium light and was excited to find this light!! First thing the suction cups work very well I put the light on the bottom side of my lid. My husband made an aquarium lid out of an outdoor sign board, it works great keeping water from evaporation! When I first plugged in the light and set the 24/7 and it worked like it should! First thing in the morning the light was orange within a few hours the orange faded lighter orange then changed to a light white color. Within in several hours the white light was brighter and seemed to be at full brightness most of the day until the brightness started to fade little by little. I believe it was around 8pm ish the light changed to blue and proceeded to dim in the blue color until 10pm ish. Around 10 pm ish the light went dark to only turn on around 6am ish with the color orange that within a few hours faded to a light orange and then start the day with a light white color. I really like the 24/7 feature if it continues to work! The light isn’t submerged in water but does touch the water so hopefully I won’t have the issues other people have had with the light stop working. I did notice the light has a plastic covering, hope it holds up! I put it on my aquarium lid and I haven’t touched it since then. This light has a 2 yr warranty which will come in handy if it stops working properly. Soooooo first impression 1. It is the light I was looking for $22 2. Really like that the light is thin in the thickness so it is not very visible under the lid. 3. Absolutely like the 24/7 feature! No more turning on/off lights twice a day! Will come in handy when we leave on vacation! 4. Suction cups seem to be very good quality and holding very well! 5. I have another led light behind my bubble bar to give some color in my tank so the bright white looks great! 6. Overall I gave it a 5 star and will update review if I need to. I ordered the 15.9” for my 50 gallon aquarium and it is a perfect size! My aquarium is 24” tall, 36” long and only 12” from front to back. I wish I could be a tester for aquarium products! Pictures show from morning until night time! Luv my aquarium ❤️ 🐠

Great light that subs for fluval spec 15gal original!
I bought this light for my fluval spec 15gal tank. I had it less than 2 years and the light died on me! The manufacturer didn’t even answer my email to help- so I decided I’ll look for a new sub for my tank (I didn’t want my fish or plants to die). This one here was so great! It was very bright and the 24/7 timer feature is nice as well. You just click it and it’ll automatically wake the fish up in the morning slowly. First with an orange “sunrise” color, then it gets brighter and even more brighter… and later it gets dimmer abs even more dimmer until it goes blue- putting the fish to sleep. It’ll eventually turn off (I do the 24/7 mode)- and then in the morning it starts all over again. You don’t have to touch it ever! Maybe during water change and you unplug it. But yes! Very nice light! My light had to be installed diagonally bc it was a bit too long to fit in the lid. I also had to use water resistant command strips (like a other reviewer suggested). The suction cups are bad. They don’t hold it in place (day 1 abs my light was in the water)! So this would have gotten 5 starts had the suction cups been good. Vendor: can you replace or upgraded the suction cups? Honestly a great light!!! Just 1 small downside: the suction cups to hold ot I’m place. Command strips were a good solution. They are strong and my light hasn’t fallen down since I used those. I’d buy again. Just remember if you end up getting one of these and it’s a tad too long? Install it sideways. Will still light the tank well!! Highly recommend this light!! Price point is also good. Reasonable!!!

Love these lights
I've only had these lights for about two weeks, so I can't speak to their longevity. Hopefully they last a long time because I love these lights! I had submersible lights in my 125 gallon tank previously. They were some Chinese off brand that simply had an on/off switch. They were a brilliant, bright white with hints of blue, and since they had a simple switch they worked with smart plugs and Alexa routines. So that being said, the first thing to know about these is that they will not work with smart plugs. Once they lose power, they forget their settings. However I've found using the 24/7 timer mode to be even better. It can be a little tricky to get set because of poorly translated instructions (more on that later), but once you get it it's easy.....and the results are quite brilliant! In the morning, instead of my lights popping on instantly at 100% brightness (which as you can imagine is probably not the nicest way to wake up), these lights begin with a soft orange moving gradually to a brighter orange to simulate sunrise. Then it slowly becomes a dim white light which throughout the day increases in intensity. Eventually the white light begins to fade into a bright blue simulating moonlight, which then fades over time into a lighter blue then darkness. It's a much more natural light cycle. I believe the whole cycle results in roughly 16 hours of different types of light (6AM - 10:50PM). I'm not an expert by any means, but I do not believe this extended light cycle will contribute greatly to the growth of algae because it's not intense white light all day every day, but I could be wrong (again, it's only been 2 weeks). As for the intensity of the white light in particular (since that's in use most of the day), it is satisfactory. I purchased another brand of light before these and they absolutely PALED in comparison to the old lights I was switching away from. I returned those and bought these. These are still not as bright as the old ones but they are much closer and I suspect it's because these are more full spectrum instead of all white. But I'm obviously pleased with them, they certainly are more than good enough. As for setting the 24/7 cycle....just ignore the directions. You'll see a series of times annotated on the controller with an LED light next to them...they are military time so just do some googling on that if you need to (or just subtract 12!). Wait until one of these time frames and push the 24/7 button until the LED next to that time is lit. You're not really "setting" anything....you're telling the controller the current time and it does the rest. If you want your cycle to start or end earlier than the 6am sunrise (the default), simply lie to the controller when you set the time (ie tell it that it's 8pm when it's actually 7pm or 9pm to move the cycle forward or back by an hour - or more). One final thing to note which should be obvious from the picture but I really didn't think about it until I got them in hand.....most of the submersible LEDs I've had or looked at were a round tube secured in rings with suction cups. Because they were round, you could mount them anywhere in your tank (such as behind the rim) and simply rotate them to direct light where ever you want. These are, obviously, not round. So there is no rotating and they will only direct light directly up, down, or across from where you mount them. So keep this in mind when planning where your lights will be in your tank. Long story short, I love these lights and as long as they have a decent service life, I will 100% buy again! Will come back and add photos when I grab some (if I can add them later) UPDATE: I still love these lights, however it comes with a major caveat: I've already had to replace two due to water getting inside of them. I replaced the first hoping it was a fluke.... Now the same thing with another one. I love the lights enough otherwise that I WILL replace again, but this time the "submersible" lights will NOT be going in the water. I advise either keeping your water level low enough that the lights aren't actually submerged or mounting them top of your lids. That will present it's own problems that I have to solve because the glass reflects some of the light back into the room. But I'll figure that out...
