Paldo Volcano Chicken Noodle, 4 x 140g

So, I've been a big fan of the Samyang 2 x spicy ones for some time now and refused point blank to try any other brand! However, it seems the Samyang ones are getting more and more expensive so decided to find a cheaper alternative. After checking out some reviews I decided to give these a try, and although you only get 4 packs instead of the 5 you get with Samyang they still work out cheaper at around £5 odd for the 4 pack instead of £9 I was paying for the 5 pack of Samyang ones! Anyway, WOW! these in my honest opinion are just as nice! They still offer that insane heat intensity, don't think they are as hot as the Samyang 2 X Spicy ones but they are very very close to it and the actual taste is pretty much the same with that nice subtle sweet after taste. All in all very very similar and definitely recommend! I like to fry up some small pieces of broccoli with onion and green beans until fried right through, cook the noodles separately as per instructions then in the final stage of cooking the noodles just after you add the hot sauce and coat all the noodles I then add that to the wok or frying pan and coat the vegetables and fry for a minute or 2.... The best! quick delivery as well.... Enjoy!

Spice fanatics, this is for us! Boil nicely, come with a seasoning pack and a sauce pack, make terrific and saucy. Now, these are the spiciest noodles I've found, but still no match for me. I usually pair with some boiled veg, lots of paprika, old bay, extra hot chilli powder, pepper, MSG/Salt, Cajun, All purpose and then a Chilli Oil Crisp to finish it off - add whatever you like, it shall only get spicier. They taste remarkable on their own and are the only noodles I've consumed in my lifetime, that I've stayed and continuously ate, usually order a pack a month.

Very nice. Very enjoyable heat for those who like their spice but could always be hotter! A little on the sweet side too. Don't need to prepare exactly as the instructions state but rather to your taste; I prefer more "soup" with mine so I leave some more water in it at the end etc. Easy to make, definitely one of the more gourmet dried noodles out there. Great with some spring onions and mushrooms too. Would buy again.

Very good for breakfast with a fried egg good heat level and slight sweetness. Prefer these to Samyang 2 and 3 times hot. Good value good quality noodle thumbs up

They were ok but not volcanic

the noodles were very spicy as they should to be, the texture is nice and they are thick enough. they were easy to cook and the smell.

They are very hot, but a sweetness with them as well. The noodles are a little thicker than normal packet ramen as well. All round good noodle. If you want it a little less hot leave more water in when it asks you to drain before putting the sauce in. Really good purchase. First bought at the local Chinese supermarket and then I found them on amazon. Top noodles if you like them hot.
