I have tried many support products and this one works he best.
Excellent support for my wife's head and body. Soft and comfortable. Her arm rests adjust up on down so I can set the position of the lateral support to accommodate whatever she is doing. I can raise it to support her head while she is eating or lower it so she can rest he head on it while she naps.

Works great!
This makes her arm rest much wider allowing her to keep her arm on the arm rest more than with the standard narrow rest. The side panel helps prevent leaning over while she is in her custom wheelchair. Universal fit is great. Works much better than expected.

It works, but bulky
This is tough to review because it totally serves the purpose of padding my mom’s arm, but it does seem pretty bulky.

This is a very nice arm rest but if you have a short arm ...
This is a very nice arm rest but if you have a short arm rest on your wheelchair, it is too soft to hold a persons hand horizontal. The product is well made but it just didn't work the way we needed it to. We had to return it.

This has been helpful for our LO with dementia lean.
We have a LO in Memory care with mixed dementias. He leans heavily to one side in his wheelchair and was not comfortable. Honestly, I am sure he is still not really comfortable hunched over, but they are not ready to move him to a partial recline because he still has some mobility by scooting himself and he really wants to do this himself as much as he can. I decided to research, and this seemed like it might be helpful. Guess what? He loves it and even side for one for the side he doesn't lean to and we figured what the heck you never know if it wears out and maybe they won't have them anymore, so we got another one for the non-leaning side. It only helps prop him a little bit, but he is not resting on the medal anymore so it's a win for us.

does not support paralyzed arm
For the first 20 minutes we put this on mom's wheelchair, it seemed like it would work. As time progressed, it started to slip out of shape, would not stay on the arm of the chair, looked just like the first review I saw with for the woman's husband who had two of them, and looked same as in photo she provided. If this arm rest was more sturdy/more supportive/stayed in place on the arm of the chair, this would have been perfect for my mother. She has two rigid arm supports that slide onto the arm of her chair, but they are too high for her now. She has shrunk a little, and her shoulder on her paralyzed side is basically frozen, and the rigid arm supports make the elbow/shoulder too high, and it is painful for her. Also painful is for her arm to be unsupported and weigh her shoulder down/stretching shoulder, so I need to find a firmer arm support, but not rigid, with velcro straps to hold her arm in place. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Not much out there it seems, or you have to pay $300!

Adapted use and it works fine.
I got this and adapted it to use on the front bar of my rollator as I sometimes need to lean on it. The quality is good, and the cushioning is what I need.

My wife was getting compression of the ulnar nerves which run on the outside of the arms from the shoulders to the hands. I suspect that it was from leaning on her arms on the typically hard armrests of her chair. I bought two of these cushions for her and I added a 2-inch wide of 1-inch thick, soft foam under the covers to fill in the depressions in the original foam meant to help hold the arms in place. Luckily her chair is wide enough to provide 2-inches on each side of her hips to allow the cushions to come down to rest on her Roho seat cushion. At the back the Skil-Care cushions are tucked between her U-Fit backrest and the armrests so are held in place and do not move. They support her arms well and eliminate pressure points. She no longer complains of numbness in her arms. As well, the sides of the cushions plus her backrest help keep her back straight and reduce the weight on her arms when she leans.

I purchased this item for over $100 and it came with an Amazon receipt for $45.99 ? Not too happy about that and on top of that it's not exactly what I needed.

Doesn't really fit universally. Partmof the vision inevitably rubs on the wheel.
