Don't be scared to use force.
Love using them. Ideal for pretty butter pats after freezing them. Tried adding colour and flavour to butter and ice. Use imagination.

I bought this for cake. it will not work for cake as it requires considerable force to remove from the mold. tried it with ice, and it works great for that. would also work well for chocolate or anything similiar.
