Safety First Aid HypaGuard Pack of 6 Foil Survival Blankets

I keep a pack of these in the car and they take up almost no space. They come sealed, fold flat and slip easily into the glove box. The foil is sturdier than it looks and reflects heat well, which is exactly what you want if you break down on a cold night or need to keep someone warm while waiting for help. They’re also handy to have at home. In a power cut you can wrap one around your shoulders and it genuinely takes the edge off the cold. You get six in the pack so you’re covered for more than one person and you still have spares left over. For the size, price and practicality they’re hard to fault. If anything, I’m tempted to pick up another pack so I can stash a few around the house just in case.

I read an article online that said you can use these metallic blankets at windows during heatwaves, to help reduce sun and heat penetration - and these worked well. Check the dimensions before ordering. Worked for me. Best to place on the outside of windows, not the inside.

Handy survival blanket-a good addition to any first aid kit.

Currently using these foil blankets attached to the outside of south facing windows. Easily cut to size. Masking tape holding them in place, even better is scotch tape , the magic tape.
