The upper is made of highly breathable air-mesh fabric and is assembled by integrating an Endurance Platform cushioning platform in soft EVA with differentiated thickness (greater at the toe, lower at the heel) for excellent shock absorption in any situation and reduction of the ramp-angle. The rear stabilizer heel allows perfect control over the cross beams. The lacing system is integrated with the cutting through loops sewn into the inner elastic fabric and with high frequency reinforcements in the outer mesh: this system allows the cord tension to be distributed throughout the upper and wrap the foot in the best possible way for a perfect wearing comfort. Ortholite® Hybrid laces and insole are also made from recycled materials. Ultra Raptor II is also available in a comfortable wide-fit version dedicated to runners with wide feet.
